Name your thumbs something more descriptive than 2257.jpg and use title and alt tags.
For example: <a href="http://www.lesbian-gallery.url"><img title="lesbian porn thumb" src="/thumbs/lesbian-porn_01.jpg" alt="hot lesbian porn" /></a> That is by no means optimized - just a rough example :P
