I want to build a search engine, has anyone here done it? what programme to use what language, ect. is it extremely hard? also whats everyones take on mobile porn sites.

i don't think building one is *that* hard. a (very) simple one could be built that is based just on a simple mysql query. its making it provide relevant results and having a large index is what is hard.

What kind of search engine are you trying to build? If you're not a programmer then it's probably going to be quite difficult, unless you can find an existing script that will do it.

If you're indexing public sites but you don't have a specific way to limit your list of indexed sites (for example, by only including domains with certain adult words in them) then you're going to run into some technical issues as your database slows to a crawl and/or gets so big that it crashes...
