Any advice on making blogs profitable?

I was just wondering if there was any tips on making blogs make money, how many blogs should someone start out with? What kind of traffic should you go for? What are some good directories that people actually look through, not just lists for the sake of being lists, or is that a good thing still? Any advice is good advice!

You don't need a lot of blogs to make good money. Quality over quantity is best I think. Get some productive trades going with similar sites, traffic will start to build up then you can start trading with more productive trades increasing your traffic. Also original content is a must, hand written posts to avoid duplicate content with thousands of other blogs out there.

Everyone has different ways of doing thing that work for them, just a case of finding out what works for you.

Hit me up on ICQ if you want I would be happy to help.

Excellent advice lbc.

Consise but to the point!

Everyone certainly does have different ways of doing things that make it work for them (or at least should do!) and I think that working with blogs is a great and relatively easy way of getting your feet wet in the porn experiementation world!

I'm also new to blog sites and was wondering how one goes about "getting some productive trades going with similar sites". I mean, if someone already has a successful site, what motivation would they have to help promote a newbies site? Or do these people just do it out of the kindness of their heart?

Well first look for similar sites in size to your own, if your site is new then trade with other new sites or smaller established sites. Then as your traffic steadily grows then start trading with sites with more traffic, and so on each time finding more productive trades and dropping not so productive ones.

Not many high traffic sites are going to give new blogs with a few hundred hits the time of day to be honest.

Its all about gradual growth, its not going to happen over night, but as I said in my other post everyone has different ways of doing things.

Hope that helps

Hey thanks for all the great tips guys, people who don't need to help but help anyways are always champs in my books.

Where can I find good places to trade traffic with? What does a trade consist of, just links or is there more to it? Is there anywhere that is tailored specifically to people with newer sites as opposed to established ones? Thanks!

Depends really, there is hard link trades, basically you have a simple text link on your site pointing to theirs and vice versa, then there is gallery trades which are pretty self explanatory. Top lists, the more traffic you send to a person the higher you climb on their list thus sending you more hits back and many more.

Then there is a mix of all of the above, again its just personal preference to get it to work for your site.

Check out http://www.adultblogresource.com/ they have some pretty neat links etc.

The key here is content... that's how you'll make a blog profitable.

If you have the content, they will come

doesnt matter if you got 100000 vids or only 100 vids, as long you update your blog it is the same.
everything comes to patience and traffic.

see webcamfreeblog.com for its webmaster page.
