I've recently noticed that there is no more info about exact date when google last time visited my site, inisde google webmaster tools. Have you experienced this, also?

I usually just look at when it last downloaded my sitemap.

yes ive noticed this too but im not to concerned. this only effects your site if you constantly make changes to your keywords and site descriptions.

I prefer to stick with awstats and not even install google webmaster tools

Everyone's gotta use the tools that work for them in the end.

GWT have made it simpler for me.

Use your server stats for that. But the real and true way to know what google is doing to your site is to find the site ranked in goole and watch it go up or down.
