Thumb / Image Polishing vid tutorial - learn how!

I get people messaging me all the time asking me to teach them how to make nice polished thums, such as the ones on teenist and after helping quite a few i decided to make a video tutorial for you to watch. This tutorial isnt free as any information worth having is not free. To watch this tutorial please hit me up ICQ 248877409 and i will give you a link to my video. Im only asking $25 for the info where u can log in and watch it anytime u want.

LEARN HOW TO MAKE IMAGES LIKE THESE (gfy kinda downsizes ...click image for best quality):

Learn to sharpen thumbs to get better gallery listings or enhance the images on your blog/website. I have been doing this for a while and I am quite good at it.

my icq is 248877409. ttyl~

first off you are in no position to challenge my expertise as you are obviously new to the whole industry with a no traffic site and only 100 posts. 2nd its a matter of preference and that is controllable for the thumbs, i choose to have mine up as they will stick out more and get more clicks... These thumbs are perfect. but thanks for your worthless input...

Actually this is why some people thumbs produce twice as many clicks as all the rest, get with the program man! You can learn a lot from people who allready know how to make it work.

Very interested... Can you tell me which program you use, and what you teach in the video? for example, adjust contrast, brightness, airbrushing, etc.

Oh and how long is the video?

I want to know _what_ it is teaching. If it's 7 minutes of playing with the brightness setting, i'll save the $25.

the tutorial teaches you more than playing with a brightness setting. 7 minutes due to explanation on the polishing process.

Not a video but my crude notes - may help out some beginners Best of luck to you sfera, might consider posting screencaps from the vid or a brief (30 second) clip to attract some sales

this tutorial is shit cuz 1, takes too much time, and end result is not as sharp as it should be. But thanks for your thread hijack attempt.

Bump for you sfera! Saw the vid and its kickin ass. Takes like 30secs for each thumb if you have done it one or two times before..
The main info from the vid is like 3 steps but those three steps are worth every penny if you didnt know this before.
So think about...

perhaps, but there are plugins that would be 1 click and get same result. I dont feel i need to argue against these plugins as they will never get they clarity and contrasts correct as a real person would. The people that have seen my tutorial have been impressed and thanked me. All positive response.

Now please. All surfer noobs, stop commenting in my thread. Thanks

ok i looked into this plugin more and there is no way you can get the results with this plugin that you would get with my methods. Absolutely no comparison in quality. Mine kicks that plugins ass. plus its $213 cheaper!!

cheers

you actually cant get the same result with filters because you end up getting the water color painting effects. depends if you want sharp polished htumbs or blurry ones. I show how to make sharp and polished for more clicks

I don't want to speak out of turn, but $25 for a tut on how to do this??

Anyone with an incredibly basic knowledge of photoshop could produce something almost identical

Even if you've never touched photoshop before there are hundreds of free tutorials online that you could read.

Also before anyone questions my experience, I may not have been in this industry long but I've been in the design industry for over 5 years and this is week 2 sort of stuff

there isnt a tutoral that is specific to this. I have alot of polished images on teenyblogger.com that poeple hit me up asking how i do that. So rather than using my time to teach this individually i made a tutorial and selling it for my time. I have sold this totorial over 50 times. Everyone that has bought it has been totally satisfied and said it was well worth the $25. This is a video tutorial with explanation. Not some forum thread on how to.

Since you have been in the design industry for 5 years it would be expected that you know this. So take your ego and shove it. however someone just starting out and wanting to polish the images on their site/blog would want to know how to do this and i would be glad to teach them how. So please fuck off and respect what others may want. lastly, $25 is not a lot of money. Im sure you make that in 5hrs flipping burgers at mcdonalds in your evening job.

If you can make it as a photoshop droplet. I'll be glad to pay $25 for it.
