Broken link remover

Hi boys,
I recently bought a site and i got a report in Google webmaster tools about 7500 !!! broken links. I made my search and found nothing to remove or hide them. All the tools i found just report the links.
Any ideas? Not manually, thanks.

it sounds like you bought a site and changed it around from the way it was before, so 7500 links that were indexed before by Google are not existing anymore

if you want to remove them, don't worry, in a short period of time google will remove them from the index automatically

it is probably a good idea to make a 404 landing page so that if someone clicks on a broken link trying to get to your site that they will at least find some page rather than nothing

There was a problem in Database installation when i moved the site to my own hosting account. I search and repair lost pages. But i'm sure that finally many internal links will be broken. That is i worry about. I have a custom 404. Thanks

Outbound broken links on on so many pages is also a problem.

Thats one of the issues with buying a site.

The only think I can say is grab some coffee or soda, and start going page by page.
