Webcam streaming for personal use? - GoFuckYourself.com

Hi all

Me any my girl have webcams. We want to have our own private chats, where no one else can see, with real, streaming video instead of the slo-mo stuff you normally see from webcams.

I was wondering if there were any websites that offer this, preferably free, or maybe software we can run on our own computers. I'd even be willing to host the streaming software on my own computer for us personally if there is a good one that anyone can recommend (I don't run any servers software btw, just XP and Vista on 2 diff pc's, although I do have a server i rent with linux/apache).

I have googled for the last couple of hours now and keep running into dead ends, so I was hoping some other webmasters here might be able to help out.

I believe most of the chat programs offer live video chat, AIM, MSN, ICQ.. I am not sure of the quality, but if you have not checked them out yet, you may want to.

Haven't tried it but heard Skype is better than the other free chat programs mentioned above(windows live, yahoo im, etc) I did notice that you can now do video in Gmail tho, so maybe?

Skype is very good provided both parties have a pretty robust connection.

Another alternative if you want the fun of chat rooms as well is CamFrog.
