Please settle an argument !

I have a modeling website being developed. Each model will have their own unique page where fans can view their pictures and bio.

I wanted to have the models list other websites they are associated with in the bio with a link.

If I have 5000 models with say 10 websites per model listed, that's a lot of links! My web development company says there is no value in that?

Could someone please confirm or deny the benefits of having models post additional websites on their bios.

Thanks.
