Wordpress question [Hide/Show particular category] - GoFuckYourself.com

So I'm fairly apt at wordpress, I can code up a decent theme from scratch but I'm having some trouble with a feature I want to include on my latest theme.

What I want to be able to have is have an option to hide or show a particular category.

In much the same way that Fleshbot allows you to view all straight content or all gay content as oppose to a mix of the 2.

Anyone have any idea on a plugin or some code that would allow this?

I would script something cookie based...

put a simple "if" there with a condition checked via the cookie.

Im sure there is already a plugin that will do this. But as long as the theme is widget ready it wont show the category untill it has something in it.

AJAX with If php functions / categories would be your best bet
