I use godaddy for about 4 years and i must say that i never had any trouble with servers and hostings.They are stable and realible.I still have some hosting and domain there.
But when the problems appear , you are complete fucked up.The lowlife tech support make from godaddy the worst piece of shit company who i work with.

I too have used godaddy before and have had nothing but a good experience using them. Don't just take my word they are very reputable in the industry! Their hosting is sound and extremely user friendly.
