the keyword in option 1 would be "domain.com" the keyword phrase for SEO purposes in option two would be "Click here to download more Domain.com videos". So when people go Google (whatever) what do you think they would search "domain.com" or "Click here to download more Domain.com videos"?
If you think they are more likely to search domain.com then #1 is your answer. If you think they are more likely to search for the keyword phrase #2 then #2 is your answer.

Acutally. You want just the keywords as the anchor not the domain.
Unless the domain is the keywords but you dont need the .com

A strategy I've used since very early in my game was the 70/20/10 Model. Google themselves follows this 'model' or spirit across many things, including how they govern employees time. They allow 20% of the time spent working (1 day out of 5) to be used developing or working on projects not related to the employee. Gmail, google video and many other services and technologies have been developed with this model. They let the smart guys free to use the resources to work on dream projects.
Anyways the 70/20/10 model is this:
Now the way I generate links and determine anchor text is much like this, and seems to be the best balance.
This will ensure you hit your main keywords strong, and give them no doubts about what the site is about, and also ensure that you dont link to it with too much of the wrong thing. Keep it balanced, but weighted towards your best possible keywords. Go for the big terms, and the little terms will follow suit almost by default. Go for the little terms and you can get them one at a time, but make no progress on the big ones. There is only one real way to do it, and thats to go at the big terms and collect the little ones by default.

Link the keyword you are going for. If the keyword your going for does not fit into the sentence add a title tage to it containing your keyword.
