Who is a Clips4Sale Expert? Looking for some answers.
I emailed clips4sale support and am waiting for an answer, but my impatient ass thought I might find the answer here. I have a couple of questions and hoping anyone in the know could shed some light.
1. When I upload a clip and try to set a price, it says "not allowed". Am I not able to set my own clip price? Or is there some sort of newbie probationary period? 2. What percentage do I take home off of my clips? I looked everywhere and in the welcome documentation, but could not find the answer. Also, if anyone knows of any sites that are similar and worth checking out, please share. Thank you in advance for any answers you can provide. |

I am no expert, but have been with C4S for some years.
1. After you Gizmo/FTP your clips and clip images, go to the clip store icon. You should be able to add a clip title, description, type keywords [optional], set previews [must be enabled], and then in the drop down boxes select your clip file, clip price, and clip image. There way to set a clip price is done with a drop box. If you try to key in numbers, it won't work. 2. You get 60 percent, C4S gets 40 percent. If you make DVDs, its 80 percent, 20 percent. What is your store/studio number? |

Nothing to show here as I am very new to C4S and still kind of browsing the system trying to figure out what everything is. Probably going to upload some clips within the week.
My store# is 39164 I have one more question though. I was previewing my store and noticed this statement: ****** THIS STORE IS ONLY ABLE TO ACCEPT PAYMENTS THROUGH ****** ****** GIZMO CARD ****** Is this because I am new? Thank you for your reply. |

Clips4Sale will allow you to upload your content once you signup.
Once you have your content uploaded, you will need to contact C4S to request it to activate your store. Once upon a time, you could get a store to go live with only one clip. Now C4S requires at least five clips. There are various emails to use to get your store activated. One is [email protected] There are others, but you may have to do some digging to find them. The owner has two or more direct emails of his own, but I don't remember them. |

email support and they will remove the gizmo card thing, and allow mainstream visa/mastercard cards. ensure you do already have at least 3 - 5 clips in place though, as i think they need a few clips before they remove the gizmo thing. dont know why they do it....
