I use plone, a cms based on zope (python framework). It's a beast and takes time to learn. But it's fun to learn python.

I'm using Django (also a Python framework). PHP is a toy.

I use ASP. Real easy to learn. It's great having both Application and Session-scope variables because it scales well when traffic gets high.

That's the one! The wonderful world of windows.

I'm a real newb when it comes to webmastering and internet marketing. I didn't want to have to learn a new technology on top of everything else, especially since I dropped a nice chunk of cash last year to learn ASP .NET. (Then I got a job where I thought I'd get to use my new skills, but they got me doing QA... <wretch>... money's decent, but I'm bored to tears... now I can use my skills and get off at the same time!!!).

Will you be my friend? <she say's in her best southern-US drawl> I'll show you my tattoo!!!

Thanks, all, for chiming in!

Wooo! cute tattoo, sweetie...!

ASP is a LOT easier to learn than ASP.NET. Plus, I have so many ASP routines I've made over the past ten years I can build myself most anything using existing scripts.

I have an advantage when it comes to SEO - I have four domain names I registered back in 1996. Google loves domain names that have been registered for a very long time. So, I only need a handful of links and one of my SEO ASP scripts and I' can squirt Google giz all over the place!

Classic ASP is something I never learned. I'll be working w/ Javascript then.

Old domain names, huh? Thanks for the tip!

Keep 'em cummin'!

I prefer working in Python using Django, but I've worked on Zope, Pylons, Rails (obv using Ruby), and some misc homebrew shit in the past.

Right now, I'm doing CodeIgnitor (unfortunately using PHP) for a project.
