Affiliates sign ups VS Direct Subscription

Hi folks, I am new here so please excuse the general and other wise sort of dumb questions.

We are thinking about buying this website www .lindapop.com.

I would like to know what the industry average is for affiliates selling subscriptions VS subscriptions sold directly by the site.

We are also looking for a processor that does not scrub Colombian charges so much that there are no sales..

Many thanks for your help..

Bob

I'm not sure what you mean, but an affiliate usually takes 50% of the sale. So for a $30 sale that would be $15.

Sorry I thought that I was being clear,

Out of 100 sales how many are by affiliates?

I don't think there is an industry average for the figures you are looking for. Each site is different and some can be entirely affiliate based and have a few direct sales and vice versa. It also depends what you push the most, so if you push getting more affiliates for your site then obviously expect 50%+ of sales from affiliates. Hope that helps.

Once you save the day.. Thanks for all of the help.. I have been using a rough figure of 25% which is somewhere in the middle.
