What Is A White Label / Co-Branded / Private Label?

These terms are all for the same thing. A quote from wikipedia "A white label product or service is a product or service produced by one company (the producer) that other companies (the marketers) rebrand to make it appear as if they made it."
In basic terms this means someone else has the service and you can use your domain name and customize the look and appearance of the site so that it appears to be your own.
An example of this is http://cams.allpik.com This is one of our clients who set up their white label with http://www.camwealth.com.
As you can see they have customised the header and background. Most white labels you can only change basics like texts and a logo.
We offer more! If you look on the side bar of our clients page he has his own personal links area as well as a link at the top called links. Both areas are html permitted and you can promote anything from a link to another affiliate program you may use! It is extremely flexible! On the links page you can even add an entire html page area.
This makes the site appear to be your own, hence white label.

Why Use A white Label?

Most business owners know the costs of software development, hosting, support and all the extra costs involved in starting your own web business.
With a white label those costs are at a minimum, no need to provide support as the white label does that, no need to provide models or come up with the programming costs etc..

How Do I Set Up A White Label?

This is usually pretty simple. At the time of this article Godaddy was offering a promo code for 99 cent domains it is "Fall99". So here are the steps.
1. Either purchase a domain for 99 cents. For example "hotmessengergirl.com". Or use a sub domain name. for example "cams.hotmessengergirl.com"
2. Sign up for a white label program. ours can be found at http://www.camwealth.com.
3. Once signed up to a white label program they will usually give you what is called an "A number". register your domain on the white label program.
4. Sign into your domain company account. (For example if you used the 99 cent code for godaddy and purchased "hotmessengergirl.com", log into your godaddy account.
5. Find where your "A number" or "A record" is. In Godaddy you will go to "domain control" then select your domain name in blue. This will pull up another window. In that window there are 6 options, One will be DNS, at the bottom of the DNS column will be a link to "DNS Control". Click that link and up will pop another page and VOILA the first area you see will say A Number / A Record. if you are setting up a domain you will change the record that has the "@", if it is a subdomain like "cams.hotmessengergirl.com" it will say "cams". Scroll to the right and you will see an edit icon it looks like a pen and paper. Click it. Up will pop another window. Replace the current "A number" with the a number given to you by the white label company.
6. Your done!! now log into your white label once its approved usually companies take up to 48 hrs, However we have live support if you message them they will have it up instantly for you!
7. Customise away!
8. Reap the profits from sending traffic to your own cash machine, with out dealing with the stresses of models customers and programming!
9. Check your income stats directly in our system updated instantly!

* Because all domain companies are different a quick google search on changing your a number with your domain company will give you easy info on how to do it. Or you may call them for support.
