Thanks. Appreciate the help. The embedder installed fine, and seems to be working great.
But the theme will not install. When I click the install button, it spins, then stalls, then shows the install button again.

With that being said they have a lot of potential actually but to us unusable in their current state.

Probably the biggest issue is the lack of custom fields there are a few but very limited

Theme options are also extremely limited.

Support is a joke - The plugin broke 5 days after purchase and can't get support

Requested a refund as the products are basically unusable to us - broke - and NO SUPPORT!

Couldn't get an answer about the refund either after not receiving support and had to start the dispute process.

Damn shame with more work and some more creativity it could be really good.

And I see it's not just me - these people are Ass Clowns

They take the money and run and leave you hanging with crap that doesn't work!

They will give you support when they will feel like it or when they will have fixed their theme/ plug in issue. Wp-script was seems great at first but SO MANY UPDATE/ Broken fixed and so on. Got one website using wp-script STILL :Oh crap and i will not do the update reading this thread. My only problem right now is to find a way to transfer 400+ video and using a different plug in player and i dont know what will be the result lol and i don't feel to do it all manually one by one :1orglaugh ...... but if my site get broke again I will make the move ; Transfer 10 video + per day up to 40 days or so :pimp ... FM.

Too bad looks like a nice product but think it's a single guy doing it all. Not 100 percent sure though

Ok So I received a reply on their support forum today here it is copied exactly how they posted it.

"That's right. You insult us, you ask for a refund and you make us lose a phenomenal time. So wait for your refund on PayPal and let us work please."

Now the refund was requested within 7 days of purchase - actually one was requested within 10 minutes of purchase after we realized the embedder plugin will not work for us - The other refund request was within 7 days due too broke XBiz grabber plugin and terrible support.

Now I ask has anyone ever seen a good legit company with integrity and customer satisfaction in mind ever posted a reply to a customer like the one they sent me?

I'm telling you people STAY AWAY from WP-Script they are bad news!!!

I've been looking at a plugin called WP All Import actually spent about 45 minutes watching their videos last night - By chance have you tried this it looks quite promising and I would love to hear some feedback from anyone who has tried it.

starting to look like tubeace may not be a bad option after all.

Honestly I have had a Tube Ace license for years and it's not so great

The prices just went up up the Developer Chris Howard ripped everyone off on their original purchase deals which were unlimited licenses and free lifetime updates - this guy updated his Tube Ace plugin - put in a new licensing system and totally screwed people who bought lifetime licenses

He is kinda a prick if you can get a hold of him for support and he is very short and unhelpful. Many others agree with me about his character.


I just recently purchased WP ALL Import and for my needs it is by far the best importer I have used so far but that depends on your needs. If you are loading sponsor content it kicks ass. If you are trying to rip and run in a hurry with embeds from other tubes, well then not such a great option . But support is ok so far and they refunded me with no issues what so ever on a "Ad On 39.00 item" I purchased but did not need because the standard WP ALL Import had all the functionality I need.

ill have to look into that seems these tube scripts for wordpress suck on support overall, wpt... for a legit tube ive always used wpxtube without issues

I tried WPXTube a few times

It did have some nice features but not so great with themes and doesn't seem to be updated any more

It's a shame becuse if it were to be updated regularly and be compatible with better themes then WPXTUBE would have some real potential

You may try the ZingTube from XWPThemes. It works like charm for me.

For another of my website we use xwpthemes - rosa theme + Ken transformer plug in all in all :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup
yes less features but it's all depend of your needs ( my need is to have a website working in all time :winkwink: )

Got that issue with xvideos I think.

It happened in all tube sites after some grabbing sessions. I think the tube sites block the script from scrapping more!

Well, I'm updating my 250 tubes I made this past week with wp-script and I'm not noticing any errors when I update them with new videos, don't use xvideos though.

With all my bitching about those guys , i have to say this. I can confirmed i have switch one of my tube website to the new wp-script updated and IT WORKED with no bugs for me.

i got it friday. i think it is wp scripts server or whatever failed. mine was redtube. i have to find a way to track down who is to blame. i waited an hour works fine now. the plugin and the themes are great!

Tube Ace for WordPress 1.x saw rampant privacy due to its distribution on torrent and file locker sites. The amount of people that contacted me for support while knowing they didn't purchase the plugin was astounding.

Starting in Tube Ace 2.0, I added a new per-domain licensing system which was needed in order for the business to survive.

All previous customers that requested an upgrade to 2.0 received a free one.

Unfortunately, some customers (albiet a small percent) seem to believe since they paid a small fee of $79 for a plugin, entitles them to unlimited consultation and advice on marketing, WordPress theme customization, server and database administration for their website.

Indeed, at times I may become short with those who demand several hours (sometimes more than 10) of support, don't bother reading the documentation and refuse to help themselves. These few customers are deterring the majority good customers from receiving updates and new features. I've even had a customer calling himself the "CEO of a web hosting company" who didn't know how to connect to his own server via SSH.

Many difficulties arise while offering a software product such as: varying production environments, conflicting plugins, APIs going down, customers using cheap godaddy hosting which is restrictive of server resources and many other technical issues beyond my control.

As you can imagine, these issues can be extremely time consuming and tedious, but over the past (nearly 10) years since I released the first version of Tube Ace, I have tried my best to give my customers a great product with support and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. :pimp

(r.i.p. traffic cash gold) thats what it reminded me of. Wp script is good stuff. although i have to do some tweeks to change the ref links the way i want them. im using the retro theme.

I'm not able to:
Grab videos from any tube partner on any of my sites
Send tickets about this problem

Its a pain having so many deleted videos on so many links.

Nice server migration. Hope they finish it because somehow all my sites using that plugin now look the same with some pink font for logo. Related videos are gone from video pages, too. So, I have to change the settings on all my wp-script sites now? Videos per page are set to less, too. Oh... Can't edit settings. It is as if the plugin and theme are not paid for and not using the full version. Let us know what is going on. :)
