i tested demo website, some videos not working. only play eporner videos.

And, can we disable in player ads ?

Yes all sources work. We've created the demo only with Eporner and Porn.com videos. You can't see the Porn.com videos?

The advertising locations are widget areas, so you can display what you want or nothing ;)

THEME UPDATE 1.0.2

We added a widget area at the top of the thumbnails on the home page. You can use it to add a banner for example ;)

NEWS

We are working on the integration of a rewriter engine (through a specialized partner) directly in the WP-Script grabber.

The rewriting for titles and descriptions will be done automatically during the videos grabbing ;)

Couple of questions...

[1] Would your WP-Script plugin work well with this theme:
Origin Theme Preview

[2] Does the plugin pull multiple thumbs for each video and then rotate them on hover?

Thanks.

Hi!

1. Yes no problem, WP-Script plugin can work with any WP themes

2. The multi-thumbs feature is not integrated for the moment but we are working on!

Do not hesitate to revert to me should you have any queries ;)

The WP Script theme needs the ability to add pages. The version I am using doesn't allow this it seems.

Yes you're right. You can add pages now with the latest version 1.0.2 ;)

Does it also allow blog posts to be added by selecting a blog template ?

aka123 07-29-2015 04:46 AM

This is quite interesting model: you steal content from other sites those legitimacy over the content is questionable to start with.

I will pass.

I don't know if you realise this but this script works with a couple of dozen AFFILIATE programs. Programs like Fetish Hits, Sextronix, Ferrocash, AV Revenue etc

1.0.2 doesn't provide support for rss ?

So? You steal the already questionable content and monetize it with affiliate programs. Swell..

As far as I know this WP-script does download the content from tubes aka other sites not belonging to the downloader. Correct if I am wrong. It doesn't download the content from these affiliate programs.

It isn't about the content being questionable per se (like rape porn, etc.) it is about whether you have right to it/ right to show it. Scraping other sites is questionable at least and in many cases illegal, especially if it is copyrighted content, whether the copyright owner is the tube or the affiliate program.

Are you saying that it's your belief this plugin is enabling/encouraging content theft and copyright violation?

It is enabling that. The whole concept of the plugin is troublesome from legal point of view.

The plugin imports the content from feeds available in the affiliate interface of sponsors and tubes. This is not a prohibited content but a sharable content.

We simply use the tools made available to everyone.

I get the sponsor's interface, but that tube stuff is different thing. Regarding the websites feeds; in 99,99 % of cases the idea is not that you copy the content and post it as your own. That is not at all the definition or intent of "shareable content". The idea of viral stuff is that you link back to the site or the originating site is recognizable from watermark, etc. (the tube); you can't post it as your own or usually at all as a whole (unless mentioned otherwise). The deal what you have made with the affiliate program doesn't extend to the tube. The tube has (if has) deal with the affiliate program, not with you.

So I advise you to contact directly tubes and ask them why they offer XML or JSON feeds in their webmaster interface.

If they offer some services to other webmasters it is different thing. But still, I doubt that their intent is to share content by simply because they are so good hearted. :) Or do you think so?

I say this again; sharing a feed doesn't meant that you have permission to copy that content and post as your own. Because it is available for public doesn't give you any permission other than regular quoting permission.

Most sites have some kind of feeds in these days, but it doesn't mean that you can steal their content and in worst case duplicate their sites. Those feeds are there so that you can easily see new and updated content, etc., not that you could steal that content.

I think you misunderstand the script.

If you choose a sponsor feed and get sponsor content then that content is replicated on the site with a button below each video going to the sponsor with the affiliate code of the affiliate.

It seems that I got it totally right. In this case the link shouldn't be to the affiliate site, it should be to the tube site, as that is from where you got the content. And still the content should be a mere quote.

Unless the feed is from the sponsor program itself, but what that has to do with the tubes? If the content comes from sponsors, for what you need the tubes?

It's ok, I've fixed it. It was something I did at my end fiddling with the theme.

I think you don't understand how it works. I'll try to keep it simple:
  1. Tubes offer feeds to webmasters with their embed player
  2. Webmasters import tubes content and display it on their site
  3. The embed player has a logotype (Pornhub, Redtube, etc.) and link which redirect the visitor to the tube
  4. Webmasters are paid based on the traffic sent

It's perfectly legal and it's part of tubes affiliate program.

There are dozens of feeds available in the script.

For example, choose AV Revenue, then put your affiliate code in, then the script gets the AV Revenue affiliate content and puts it on the site.

In the case of tube feeds, you register with the tube affiliate program, add your domain to their affiliate panel, pull the feed and when people click your link you go through to the tube and your traffic is recorded.

It's a pretty simple concept, I don't know why you're having so much trouble understanding it.

If you have permission to publish the content and the tube has permission to publish the content, then there is no problem.

But it is not about the feed; the feed is just a delivery method. It is about the content, no matter is it in feed, website, book, flyer, TV, radio, tattooed on alien's ass or whatever. To you the script maybe just magically pulls content from somewhere, but that is not how it really goes. I get the concept from your part; you just press button and voila, but there is essentially quite much more in it.

Okay, I know this model and if that is it then there is no problem from tube's part. Though as I mentioned in the first post, the content on tube might not be legally in there.

I also understand different model: scraping sites. Maybe you should tell more clearly what your plugin is about instead of just speaking about "grabbing" the files.

WP-Script uses the feeds offered by the tubes in their webmaster interface. These feeds are in the context of an affiliate program and we have permission to use the content.

Thank you for the advice but there's no need to over-complicate.

The sponsor content like that from Sextronix, AV Revenue, Fetish Hits and so on doesn't come from tubes, it comes from the sponsor.

Over-complicate? In the same sentence you can bring up the legitimacy from the tubes part and also that you can make money presenting the videos/ bringing visitors to tubes, as at least with some you can do.

"Get videos from tube, direct visitors back to them and earn $$."
"Populate your site with tube's videos, send visitors to them and earn some serious $$$."
"Download our plugin and use tubes affiliate programs to populate your site and earn some $$."

You have my permission to use those.
