Pagespeed shows 90% seo score but other one says its terrible?

A lot of times I have to put in tags myself, some things that models put in make things a mess, like age, lots of girls are 99..

On the themes as they are the tags are cumulative. So if your main page is showing all online cams and someone hits the Asian tag on the menu bar it ends up being asian+online and essentially the same as the main page.

One you realize how it works you can do separate queries to get the results you want.

If it is Imlive it has had it since day 1

yeah, I still miss roboscripts.... plus they ask a shitload of money just to do an integration of your current theme into their script... don't worth the price for now

Pretty much everything you posted here can be fixed in a few minutes. I also HIGHLY doubt that his demo site server is optimized well for production, so using the demo site was pretty dumb. :winkwink:

The last screenshot, based on what it shows for amount of media and words, I don't think that test even loaded in the ajax thumbnail script...

Show possible clients the demo optimized for SEO, speed, etc, and sales will skyrocket.

I bought it, but I'm not lazy. I'm also a CWV "nazi". Some of that stuff is outside of his control due to how the cam sites provide the data, etc. This script needs some work, but it's far superior than that Roboscripts pile of garbage everyone used. :thumbsup

I haven't done any CWV stuff yet. This is also about #100 on priority of things to do for me.

I don't know if you know this or not, but that last picture - the "SEO checker" you're using, is useless. I'm not really sure why you use it or think it matters, but I think we've went back and forth before after I pointed out you're brain dead about SEO.

Because I've got about 30 99/100 sites and they make up about 1% of the total SE traffic across my network. One signal an SEO strategy does not make. :winkwink:

I did hit up Konrad with a couple ideas to make "default" CWV a bit better when he ships to customers, though, after digging a bit just now.

And got it to 86 without much work or me bothering anyone else about it:

It did hit 90 a couple times, but 86 was the most common number using Lighthouse.

Probably worth mentioning that's on a server where I have a few WP installs doing way too much for way little return. If I disable those sites (most likely), it'll go up a bit just by server response being marginally better.

Issue is bonga/strip and various other cam studios don't display male cams and some don't display couples. You can see it on the demo site

Ahh I don't know about those, I am only using chaturbate API and it's working for that

I will take a look at everything mentioned here when i get back from my ski trip. In the case of stripchat I think you have to make separate API calls for guys vs girls. I have some filters i'm adding for the next update for genders.

Ultimately, the script is still fairly new and it will be built out further as we go along, based on customer feedback.

Yeah, it's lightning fast even with just filesystem as cache method. I haven't switched on Memcached yet.

Yeah a few sites have issues. Like Konrad said it's the way the apis pull data. I'm going to see if I know someone who can fix it

I put some work into CWV for the next update. This is probably close to the best that can be done given the nature of the type of site.

There's really three things here that prevent this from getting super high on things like GTMetrix etc.
1) We are loading the thumbnails from the source sites, because there's no way to download them fast enough to update potentially thousands of models every x minutes, nor would we be able to set a cache time that both pagespeed would like and would actually be useful (since the thumbs are constantly updated). It's also impossible to size the images correctly, because the sites deliver various sizes.
2) I can't move bootstrap out of the the <head>
<base href="https://gfy.com/" /><!--[if IE]></base><![endif]--> tag without breaking the layout. I can't move other CSS out of <head> without causing layout shift.
3) I cannot reduce the DOM size much, because of the nature of the thumbnail grid display.

IMHO, Pagespeed stuff like this should be taken with a grain of salt. Google would love nothing more then if your site was nothing but times new roman text with basically zero CSS.

It looks like when it pulls ''ethnicity' it's pulling "CaucASIAN' as Asian too.

Yeah, I think I need to change the ethnicity stuff to use tags instead. Many sites don't return ethnicity.

Fixed that, and released 1.1.1 update. The update contains various bug fixes, speed optimizations etc.

Did it did the script not pulling male cams from certain providers?

Which specific providers do you have issues with? I plan to get the next update out pretty quick but had to push this one out now to resolve some issues people have had.

those are the ones I found, others might chime in with others, but I think bonga/stripchat is the most important as they are the more popular sites

Try now, I got a little ambitious with the deferring of javascript.

I just did a test install and went through every single cam api to check and adjust to get these filters sorted. The reason this wasn't done initially is that my whole plan was to pull all cams and then filter on the front end but it seems like filtering at the database insertion point is needed for some usage cases, so it's added.

BongaCams doesn't pull Male/Trans
- They don't seem to return male or trans models at all in their API. I checked and had absolutely no male or trans in the API response. I suspect you have to use a different API key for these categories?

- Fixed this, will release in update soon, you also need to increase the number it pulls from 1000 to something higher like 10000

- Added a selector for this in next update

LiveJasmin doesn't pull male
- You have to set category to Gay

Xlovecam doesn't pull males but the layout on that site is weird anyway
- Their API doesn't actually return gender at all.
