Having been a cam performer, it's weird how things add up.

Problem with a math formula is that people don't always stay in for exact minute amounts - it's never a solid 1 minute or 4 minutes or 20 minutes unless they buy a block of time. It's always some weird number and you'll have overlapping shows in premium which skews any formula.

Not taking either side, but there really isn't a way to say "If performer A works X number of hours at Y per hour, she will make Z"

the math is solid, but then again I am using Robbie's figures. If he says she makes $100 an hour her cut and she works 4 hours. Then you have 2 of the 3 variables to determine an "average per minute" . It just an average, she won't have exactly 1.3 people on at all times. But it just shows how much bullshit it is that he is trying to say "at any moment she USUALLY has 5 - 15 people in private" at $3.99 a minute, when you start doing that x 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 etc people it adds up really really fast. You going to reach your $100 per hour you claim you make in just a couple mins with that many people on at a time. Its just totally bullshit and talking out of his ass as usual.

There are way to many factors involved to determine what cam system is better than the rest.
Some cam systems you make instant Great money for a couple weeks because you are new.
Some cam systems you have to learn how to work, and explore all the ways to make money.
Keep in mind trying a new cam system will almost never be as good as one you have been on and have a customer base.
With all the percent's, price per minutes, amount of people in a private, cam shows with PayPal and yahoo, selling things, and memberships,
the best way to even get a close idea is the size of your check at the end of the week and amount of time worked to get that.

I'll try to clarify what I'm saying:

You could have 20 people in your room at one time, with your earnings being 1 dollar and only make 2 dollars per minute.

Steamate doesn't charge you if you're in the room for less than a certain amount of time. I believe it's 30 seconds or thereabouts.

One of the last times I was on cam the girl and I were in paid chat for about 10 minutes with people constantly coming in and out of the room - when we checked our earnings after that first show - it was something like 3 dollars, and we were charging 4.99 a minute. We EASILY had 5 people in there at one time during that specific time-frame, but not all of them stayed long enough to be charged.

So like I said before, the math isn't perfect. Not everyone in a room (in a pay-per-minute situation) is being charged. Some people will pop into a room without seeing the person in free, and if they don't like what's going on (say they want to see the girl getting fucked and not sucking dick or something) they'll leave before they're charged.
