It was Express. From what amazon has said to me on the phone is seems to be Amazon that didn't require the sig. I told them that I will pay extra to make them get a sig when they resend, whatever it costs, I need the gift cards. I am still waiting to hear something back. They told me that three different amazon departments have to work together on the resolution- gift cards being their own department- and I'm sure the seasonal rush isn't helping things :disgust

Shelly, I hope they get this resolved for you quickly. I can't believe Amazon would just shrug their shoulders and say 'oh well'. They should have had insurance in place at the very least.

wow thats really lame. Ive had problems with almost every carrier from time to time. especially around this time of year, i'm willing to be drivers look for packages from places like Amazon that do not require a signature and claim they are delivered and consider it a "holiday bonus"

Ok, got it all resolved for the time being. They are refunding the original purchase and I reordered the cards. There is not a way I can upgrade the shipping through amazon to require a signature on delivery but they said I could call fedex to request that myself, so that's what I'm doing. Cards should be here tomorrow.
