I've developed a mainstream project that is almost ready like 80% user frontent / backend / dashboard ready. (Only administration dashboard is not finished)(User Generated content using revenue share and google adsense) Send me an email or icq me and I will provide more info. This is an ongoing project which means continuous development for years to come. I need an investor, I can also provide a PPT file. Thanks

Bump for big breaks!

NinjaSteve 01-08-2011 09:54 AM

That's great. Usually people don't come forward saying they are accepting ideas. Most times you have to search and search and search to find somebody to partner with you or invest in your idea.

Thanks. Some amazing emails so far. I think something good will come from this. Keep them coming everyone. It will take us a few weeks to go through them all but I will reply to every single email :thumbsup

Shap 01-18-2011 12:41 PM

The response has been phenomenal. I'm just getting caught up after getting back from Vegas. I'll be replying and emailing everybody who emailed me. I'm very excited about some of the opportunities that have come up. My biggest goal was to find a few very talented people to bring on board to help run some of our existing projects and it looks like we are going to be able to make that happen.

btw it's never too late. Whenever you read this if you are interested hit me up.

Is it safe to assume that you will sign a NDA?

Absolutely. I'm not looking to take anyone's ideas the same way I'm not looking for anybody to take ours. NDA fine by us.

I would like to work with you on Cupcakes. I love cupcakes. I also love domains.

Thanks to everyone that replied. We've already had a few huge breaks for us so far on this. We have plenty more to get back to. Obviously the response has been great and we are taking our time rolling out one at a time.

Are you planning on following through on any projects with the people who contacted you? Or are you planning on just moving away from the adult industry completely?

Right now I don't have any plans to do anything in the adult industry. That may change I don't know. To get back into it I'd have to see a really good opportunity that made sense (not interested in taking any unnecessary risk at this point ie not looking for a big scam opportunity LOL).

Once I get the time I'm going to go back and re-connect with everyone that hit me up through this thread and see if there is any advice I can give them to help their business/idea out.

Thanks a lot Robbie for bumping this old thread, you dick! :321GFY :winkwink:

I spent like half an hour crafting an email to Shap, and was just getting ready to proof-read and send it, when I read page 2 of this thread and finally noticed the dates.

Oh well, at least I have my pitch down in writing in case anyone wants to discuss a joint venture. :helpme

If it's a good idea I'm sure Shap would listen to it. :)

Send it anyway. Shap is a good dude. He said above when he gets time he might reconnect with people from this thread and offer some advice. If nothing else he might give you his thoughts on the project and that alone could be very valuable.

old doors are closing and new doors are opening. there is so much more money circulating online now than there was when Shap or I started, but you need to know where to look and how to get it. Shap is awesome but he is in retirement mode. it takes awhile to shake that and get the hunger back.

by the time he is ready to dip his feet back into this pond, the strategies will be figured out. Twistys wasn't the first glamour site, it was just one of the best. it came out almost a decade after MET opened. Shap saw the opp, studied the market, and devised a low-risk plan.

the web is changing drastically but the hunger of men is not changing. Hefner fed off the same perverted desire in the 1950's that we all did in the last decade. men have been buying sex for as long as there has been currency. if you want to get Shap's attention (and money) just show a clear, risk free way of capturing the male market and converting that attention to cash.

the only thing that has changed is the technology..
:D

I'd like to work with you shap because I like your attitude and want people like that around me.

Most of our staff have either joined Manwin or accepted employment elsewhere :thumbsup

That said if an opportunity came up I'd be able to put together a team to work on it. I've worked with so many talented people in the past 15 years and many of them eager to sink their teeth into a nice project right now.

Okay, I'll give you the pitch. My previous true talent was sales, that old school closer type with a flawless formula to close all the doors to a yes. I'm not talking about the car-salesmen type, but millions of dollars in products/service sold over the years. My record for a one time close was $780,000 on a one page executive summery idea, while on vacation.

Anyway, I've hung up this talent 6.5 years ago and forged a new talent in internet marketing/strategies and would put myself in the better then good category.

I've always had a knack of sniffing out great ideas or opportunity that later spun off to million dollar companies that are still in business today. I don't have the ability to hang onto them or expand and in the end, get handed a nice cheque to leave.

I now understand to step aside and focus on what I'm good at and be a part of the machine instead of trying to drive it. Meaning, I don't have the talent to run a profitable company and never will. I am just not wired that way.

When you sold your company most people where in awe on the success and money you made. Not me, I zeroed in on the true wealth of knowledge gained, being able to expand a company so quickly as it turned to a very profitable success. In short, I've busted my ass in trenches for 15 years in sales and internet marketing and can easily recognize you've also been in the trenches and excel in rapid company growth management and won.

The Plan:

Lot's of soldiers are coming home before and the next election to a horrible job market. But their pocket are full of GI bill collage money to the tune of $50,000 or more. I've contacted 2 online collages (there are many) and flew out and pitched a guarded Internet marketing plan to recruit soldiers into these online collages.

I used the take away close, and landed signup commission figure of around $1,200 depending on the courses the soldiers take. I've also researched the current online collage marketing methods and although competitive, wouldn't have a clue on what hit them. I am more then certain that I can close these collages on tail-end commission as their SE marketing methods get saturated.

My Problem:

I can get the online collages and the traffic, but their is noway to manage affiliates or chase down commissions earned, manage marketing networks, or have this all run smoothly. I just don't have the time, management ability, or expansion resources.

Finally, this is not my first rodeo because I did this same exact method for a group of doctors selling laser eye surgeries and hair transplants from 96-2009. I made a lot of money and built a great network, but in the end I could not manage it and handed over for a very nice cheque to leave.

...and that's my pitch.

I don't want to rain on your parade or anything man, but you seriously didn't think to EMAIL him the pitch rather than post it here? Any good ideas posted online will have 10 people replicating them before the first reply. :2 cents:
