As for picasso's, I'm surprised you don't know it, and I wouldn't suggest it as a place to meet up at or anything. It's like an old style dinner, booths that seat 4, and it's on top of Amazones strip club. It's a great place to go have breakfast at like 4am after a good night of boozing it up.

I say stick to your original plan, Jillians. But yeah if we can get a bit of a private sort of room or something, that'd be the best so that we can openly discuss business and not get stares by some concervative Westmount people or anything like that! hehehe

and I think it was Psycho514 or Asuna that said they couldn't comec cause of cash. DUDE that's weak. Borrow like $40 and come. Eat light, drink light but at LEAST show up, talk to some people.

And dude, I forgot to mention this before, AVOID THE DOME!!! Crap man, why is that the only club known to the tourists? Don't waste your time there. If you're gonna go out in that area and snob us, then go up St-Laurent. There's WAY better places than the Dome. Some old school favs that still rock are GoGo Lounge, Tokyo Lounge, I think the Living is still hopping, maybe Central Station. I'm out of the club scene, and have been for a few years but Gogo's was a cool place. They just used to let in WAY too many people in.

Picasso's also has a huge dining room that'll sit 20-30 people )maybe 12 per table). My suggestion was PJs, Amazones then Picasso's. I used to do that at least once a week after work (I used to work at the McD's down the block).

I used to work at Jillian's also, and that place is lame. The arcades suck ass. Only nice thing is the pool tables... and bowling lanes if you like bowling.

And I have cash, so it wasn't me who said that...

I used to bounce at PJ's if it's anything like it used to be, I wouldn't want to hang there. It used be a hip hop hang out, with lost of shoot outs .. I started working there after one of the bouncers was shot 4 times in the back .. it took me 3 weekends before I quite (mind you this was like 9- 10 years ago) .... We should just stir clear of NDG .. anyways it's not really party central there ... as for Picasso's the last time I was there was on a friday night at 4 am with my good friend tangerine dream, The Grub is ok but the waitrisses are ugly... If you guys want I can set up something at a new strip club on St catherines that Tangerine owns .. Just a thought ....

I think we will stick with Jillians for now.

Yeah... the shoot-outs are way in the past... PJs is nothing like that now. They play your typical bar music (same stuff you'll hear at McKibbons or Baker Street) and they play the hockey game and give free popcorn. It's a chill place to sit and have a few pitchers (they're like $9 each I think)

Like I said... the food at Picasso's is more than just ok... and it's the *perfect* cure for a hangover. Rumour has it that all the waitresses are former stripers from downstairs at Amazones

picasso's is kinda outta the way from downtown, although i used to live 5 mins from there a few years ago.... why not meet somewhere classier (fuck, we're webmasters, we can afford it) and downtown?

i suggest Wanda's classy strip club (i know the owners VERY well) and can get us a nice set of tables and the food is outta this world - it comes from Finnegan's (they also own that downstairs) and the Alberta Rib steak is the thing to have...

they open at 4pm and serve food till 10:30pm... beer is 2-for-1 till 8pm so we can get fucked up for cheap anf eat like kings

To be honest, some people have allready expressed that they are allready broke... But wandas to start with is not really a good place for Networking... I do agree that the view is spectacular, but its gonna be hard just to talk between us. Afterwards this could be a good place to go out to. I also know a person at Chez Paree that can reserve some seats for us. So, for now, I think Ill keep it at Jillians.

We are the ones that set up Chez Paree for all the Web Expo's . If we need the whole VIP section we can have it............ Well for $10k. We rented 737, Hardrock Cafe, Tokyo. Don't be cheap. If you want people to come to your little get together .........drop some coin on your future clients !
