If you want some real humor, ask an American what America is (or a Canadian what America is).

Yes after the 2,124th occurrence of death by friendly fire, the US demoted Canada from the 51st state, to it's hat.

Yea! Just like they did with Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq!

Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq all had militias and native fighters. Who in the UK is going to fight back? LOL. Well, besides the IRA!

The entire thing has lost relevance, no longer exerts any real influence in the world and I wonder sometimes if the entire group of islands would be missed should they sink beneath the waves.

I have an old Scottish uncle, he says almost the exact same thing about the "west". A few hundred years ago we weren't here, and a hundred more we wont be no more.

Chances are the British Isles, UK and Great Britain will be.

see www.britishslags.com if you want brits (www.mrban.com)

I know the difference, but the only things the rest of America need to know about those places are:

- You talk funny
- Soccer hooligans are morons
- The Sex Pistols rocked!
- The Beatles Rule!
- You all have fucked up teeth
- You have homos for royalty

DWB 02-08-2011 07:43 AM

Actually, just watched that video. Didn't know about some of the smaller intricacies of the British Empire.

I will take this video and share it with my fellow Americans, after they are finished laughing at how gay your prince is.

There's a reason that Britain hasn't been successfully invaded since 1066, we're a tough warrior nation. We don't have militias because we don't need them, but they would be their if they were ever needed. And btw the IRA are Irish not British.

Was commenting on the United Kingdom. The IRA is Northern Ireland, which is in the United Kingdom if I understand correctly?

The IRA are Irish (Irish Republican Army), some of them were from Northern Ireland but they are Irish not British and they certainly wouldn't fight for the UK.

I know where Guinness comes from and that's all that matters in this household.

Ah but have you ever tasted proper Irish Guinness? You don't so much drink it as chew it.
