eek sounds criminal. i write off $10-20K in unpaid invoices every year because this industry has many scumbags and very little legal recourse. i lost around $23k in 2010 alone. u gotta take him to court or suck it up. sorry dude.

u are right to let people know your side of the story tho. an extra $3k for editing (or aggravation) sounds excessive. editing is either included in the per-scene contract or it isn't/ :2 cents:

Frank, you should reply to these allegations otherwise we will automatically assume they are correct. I do always find it strange when you get these threads on GFY and the person being accused replies to other posts but not the ones where dodgy dealing has been alleged. Reputation means a lot in this business, like any other, and your silence on this subject calls yours into question . . so answer his accusations please so the rest of us know whether you are a man that can be trusted or not . . :2 cents:

I just spent an hour looking at old invoices from 2006-7. Steve had an editing over charge bill that he ran up by abusing my post production staff with new changes every other day for 8 weeks. Not for one scene but for editing a dozen. Not to mention several notes from my staff as to how incredibly rude he insisted on being to them.

This client received a dozen or so scenes. When he didn't like his post production overages we just didn't deliver the final scene and ended business with him.

Now he wasn't rude when I spoke to him yesterday but lets see when I call him today. I'd like to work out something to make him happy but my guess is he'll get rude again and I'll be done with him again.

I'm 15 years in this business as little as that may be right now. Ask some of my other clients how they feel about my business, like HUSTLER, Playboy, Sin City, Pleasure Productions, etc etc...

I cant respond every time one person wants to throw false accusations. Especially when that one person wants to keep saying the same one sided story.

now you want to charge me a bill of 3k for over editing? that was the cost of one entire scene...which ask anyone here that is total bullshit for any kind of editing/encoding fee

if i pay for 10 scenes i want 10 scenes
not 9 + the last scene for your miscalculated editing costs...3k to edit/encode is not what we agreed on and is absurd (it is upto you to figure out the encoding/editing costs before giving me my pricing, so if you failed here that is not my problem so again your fault!)
