can you people not read? the article posted here does not in any way say that she was not raped. try to understand, she was attacked twice. the bottom of the article is talking about the earlier attack by the government where they were arrested and interrogated. it has nothing to do with the sexual assault, which is being described as a "brutal, sustained group sexual assault". its kind of obvious what that means. and yes, sexual assault can certainly mean rape.

If the report you read was produced by Fox news then I imagine it also stated
that she was sodomized with a weapon of mass destruction.

I think I agree. What happened is horrible, but that's what you get. I don't want to say "this is what you get when you deal with these people", but if you put yourself into a situation like this you can't control it. Your talking about people rioting against their government in the hundreds of thousands, police control nonexistent, and pretty much a complete breakdown of society. Male or female, that's just not a situation I would be putting myself into.

Even more so when these countries have little to no concern over the treatment of the press.
