the thing is, you're going to want to automate at least one twitter acct with rss feeds.
so if you take your feeds and use twitterfeeds.com for instance you can set the feeds to update for x hours etc
then use your official twitter account for real posts and cross link the two. its quite legit, one is with humans setting up networks with others and one is posting the latest galleries/videos which are being released for people to check out.
in twitterfeed i also put a post name on the feed so its always "blah blah blah porn videos" or whatever.
i dont use scripts to artificially inflate my followers, that shit might work but now i have thousands of followers who are mostly real which is obviously better.

with the automated ones there is always a slim chance of being banned, but twitter is pretty lenient...at least for now.

fuck i am rambling

oh yeah its a good idea to customize your twitter page, i've found making it look snappy with a good background draws more followers.

Nothing worse than porn people spamming their galleries on twitter.

there should be a law...

...because otherwise Twitter is so relevant. I visit often just to see who took their dog to the park and picked up the poop and wished other people did the same.

Really I think twitter, facebook etc represent a great decline in the web. It succeeds largely in fueling people's lame egos so they can all feel very important about living an utterly boring, meaningless life.

yes there are positive aspects, friends who forgot how much they really hated each other reconnect after years and slowly discover the reason they never kept in touch. i think thats brilliant because its real.

if you want to boil it down, everyone is spamming something on twitter and facebook whether its porn or an hour by hour account of their pre-determined lives.

If you have not a clue about what to tweet find your 5 largest competitors and see what they are doing with twitter and improve on their efforts.

Yes, there should be a law.

My non adult twitter account (the one I always use) is PACKED full of reporters from every news network around the world. I get news directly from them usually hours before it breaks on online or on TV. For this, twitter rocks.

Lots of good quotes, silly facts and inspirational bits on there too.

you're right there are upsides to the social networks, but i would argue that a huge amount of it is entertainment related, whether its popular news or people yaking about charlie sheen etc, so imo porn is every bit as valid and is absolutely sought after on these networks, regardless of being automated or not people want to know about the latest adult stuff so i see nothing wrong with it.

well one difference is that this isn't the company Twitter. Fortunately, our marketing team is better than me at tweets, but this is more for me for work and some personal touches.

in all honesty, i would work to reverse this. as the figurehead of pv, you are in a unique spot to create some serious revenue generation via your tweets. blow your marketing team away by running with this!

an inside peak at pv/porn + special offers = happy NEW customers

easy to track too, set-up some coupons/gateways/etc. and see for yourself.

in my mind, you tweeting like this is similar to if a larry flynt did the same, obviously flynt is in a league of his own, nevertheless, the strategy would work well for you too.

No worries... I know that feeling! lol
