You should have done an EVP session to see if he was still hanging around?

One was a child hood friend who I hadn't seen in years ( his mom passed then he took a shot gun to his head), one of the girls was a friends niece that I didn't know well other than seeing her at family functions. The girl who hung herself in a tree had worked with me but I hadn't seen her in years. The one who got drunk and drove off the cliff was a good friend and I'm not 100% it wasn't just a drunk driving accident. This last one was an old ex-b/f's brother who I still talked to once in a while but we weren't that close, when he called me I was happy to go over as I hadn't seen him in over 2 years.

georgeyw 04-09-2011 03:44 PM

I couldn't imagine what that would have been like to walk into and am overwhelmed with the number of people who have had to deal with suicide.

A mate of mine hung himself in feb this year and it was a horrible experience.

BlackCrayon 04-09-2011 04:05 PM

that sucks. hes a total dick for putting you in that position. talk about a slap in the face. i would be pissed at anyone who did that to me. selfish fucking losers. you seem to associate with some fucked up people.

plsureking 04-09-2011 04:12 PM

was he a site owner? links pulled.

..

jaYMan 04-09-2011 04:27 PM

Sorry for your loss. Sometimes I find suicide selfish. Other times I'm curious about it.

I think its the ultimate test of self sacrifice. Then I have troubles with thinking about it that way too. I dunno. Every snowflake has a million sides. *shrugs*

Wish you the best in dealing with something that isn't fair.

Seth Manson 04-09-2011 04:44 PM

Sorry you had to deal with that.

I would only consider suicide in 2 circumstances.

1) I did or was accused of something horrible and was facing a long term in prison and the cops were right on my ass. Sorry but I'm just not going to prison.

2) Beginning the end stage of a terminal illness, like cancer. I've had family members taken by cancer and thats no way to go and I would not put that kind of burden on my loved ones.

Perhaps your friend felt he was in a hopeless situation as well.

rowan 04-09-2011 10:15 PM

Sounds pretty rough. Did he leave at least leave a note explaining why he did it?

docputer 04-09-2011 10:18 PM

Sorry you had to find that. My 21 year old daughter had a friend call who asked her to meet for lunch. As my daughter got closer to the exit where they were going to meet., she saw a bunch of emergency vehicles, In the highway lay her friends body.
For some reason had she pulled off the road and jumped off an overpass. The girl had 2 young kids, when the cops looked at her phone, they found a text from her husband asking for a divorce.

nikki99 04-09-2011 11:17 PM

I am extremely interested in this as well. I have not read the entire thread, so apologies if you have already posted details of any defecation, but if not, please do.

Emil 04-10-2011 08:20 AM

What a fucking retard. Why call a friend?
I would just let the cops find me, they're used to this stuff anyway.

JP-pornshooter 04-11-2011 03:20 PM

sorry to hear about your loss...
as we all get older, undoubtedly we have lost one of more friends to suicide and you are right, it is a bitch.
it is a selfish act, but you get over it and realize that its not motivated by selfishness but rather a will to no longer live.

Elli 04-11-2011 03:33 PM

What a terrible situation. :( It could have been a show of trust though, that you were the person he trusted to take care of the aftermath.

Honez 04-11-2011 04:09 PM

I just can't imagine walking into that. I hope it doesn't mess with you for too long :(

Dirty D 04-11-2011 04:59 PM

Very fucked up thing to do to a "friend"

Stay strong and keep your head up.

CaptainHowdy 04-11-2011 05:02 PM

Suicide is, if you don't mind me saying, fascinating ...

If he hadn't wanted family finding him, he would have just called the cops.

He obviously wanted you to find him because you were responsible for his death.

Your friend was probably suffering from severe depression. As you know it is a serious mental disorder that requires treatment. Maybe his call was a failed attempt of seeking help.

Altwebdesign 04-12-2011 06:45 AM

oh thats terrible, sorry to hear that, hope you get your head together soon!

Didn't bother me one iota.

My mothers death (if it happens before mine) will hit me pretty hard though. That's the only persons death that would bother me.

must be tough not having any friends..

Chezter 04-12-2011 08:07 AM

My friend had severe schizophrenia and shot himself with shotgun, I think that ill people has the right to do that, otherwise it really is selfish. The fact he was drung is also very important, when I've been drinking really heavily I had such crazy ideas after drinking for five days in a row, even there really was no real reason, just deep deppresions from alcohol. Drinking is much more dangerous than anybody thinks. And you also must be in really bad company when so many friends of yours did that...

Cyndalie 04-12-2011 09:44 AM

Thats awful, I'm so sorry. I've lost 2 friends and a father to suicide.

Thank you for getting rid of Machete_ nick.

I'm sure he was suffering from something, he was a happy go lucky guy I thought for the most part but was very abusive with alcohol.
