As someone who has dealt with Paul over a couple of years and knows him and his 'exploits' very well I can safely say that he can shoot pictures and videos of amateur style porn, but when it comes to the webmastering business he is an idiot.

Who can forget some of the funniest Paul Markham moments ... the fake surfer emails, the magic join links ... so many times he has proven what a plank he is lol.

And who remembers someone buying some old content from Bargain Basement and then complaining it was saturated?

Bought $600 worth, used it on the tour and then said people were charging back because all the content was saturated. $600 and the reason they canceled was, he bought cheap saturated content.

And who remember someone who couldn't make it in porn and now had to go to mainstream to earn a living. And someone whose Tube site had little to no traffic. Still got your porn sites? If so post a link.

Your words would carry more weight if:

1. You had any experience in the adult interwebs.
2. You had ever biought or marketed adult content.
3. You had ever run a successful business.

He posted about some surfer who apparently wrote an email to him telling him how amazing he was and how his business skills are the envy of all pornographers ... that he got what the industry embodied. Thing was that this 'surfer' used a lot of industry language and it was exactly the same style of writing that Markham uses.

Ok I admit it wasn't as good as the magic join links, the time when he admitted to banging an underage girl, or any of the other epic ones, but it was still an absolute cracker lol.

Probably not a good idea to bash past customers of yours on an adult webmaster forum, especially since you misled the customer as to the status of the content, and actually still owe me a refund for a couple hundred. Might discourage future customers (your lifeblood) if they realise you might turn on them if they dare to disagree with you on a message board ;)

I have no idea..lol. He has adultadsusa.com up. I don't know of any actual adult sites that he may have up. I know there were some adult domains I saw that I associated back to him or his buddy.

Well if you sold our content on those sites we will send the new owner a bill. The license specifically stated the license was not for resale. You can't resell the content as you didn't buy the content in the first place.

Paul, I would venture to guess that you made most of your money over the 33 years shooting porn. How much have you made from your membership site or advertising online. If you wanted to talk about shooting content, i'd listen with an open mind what you have to say since that is something I know nothing about. However when it comes to membership sites and marketing online, you have no clue what you are doing and its very apparent.

You're in the process of writing an eBook, which you hope to sell, and earn a profit from. Oh, and the shoot with Manwin. Really though, it doesn't get much lower than an eBook.

The difference between you and me Paul, is I am an Internet marketer. I can use techniques to sell any product, be it porn, be it any of a number of mainstream products. I have the ability to change from selling porn to selling another product, and thats what I have done.

Yeah enjoying the change to be honest mate, something new. It's doing pretty well for me to be honest, ratios are just amazing, though harder to get traffic than in Adult.

We've only had 1 paysite for 5 years and the other for 3 years. I think and can't be bothered to research so take it as that. They are the 4rd level of earning for us, behind magazines, content store, retail video sales, then paysites and finally sales to DVD companies.

I think at the height on www.paulmarkhamteens.com we had a decent number recurring and now that's fallen. On www.astral-blue.com it's probably only 200. and as it was launched so late it's never climbed to what it could of done.

When we thought about whether to go on the Internet in a big way it was either a content store or a paysite. This was 2000. Then there were so many sites that were obviously not making a lot of money. Met tons of them and they were struggling. Even with all there so called knowledge of paysites and marketing online.

Being in Czech with a seemingly limitless supply of good looking teens who had never been shot before the potential of this market was great. A 7 out of 10 girl is worth 4-6 sets solo. Selling them in the UK, US and EU that's a turn over of $12,000 to $18,000 a girl. Selling a set online seemed the best route, we thought it would add $300 to the profit. It turned out to be far far better than that, remember the cries that "non-exclusive is saturated" that's music to a content producers ears. It means he sold the set or video a lot of times.

If you were around when I stated posting on boards you will of read I was very scathing of the quality of porn and the "marketing" which is basically. Give away as much free porn as possible and if you only convert 1-1,000 on gallery views, give away more free porn to convert 2-2,000. That's not marketing in any other industry.

As the quality of sites it was obvious putting up a site with Czech, Hungarian, Russian girls was a non starter. They didn't speak English and it would just be a site with lots of pretty girls with nothing to say. We could in no way emulate a site like FTV.

So it would of meant going back to the UK. Which would of meant losing the goldmine we had in magazine sales. We shot well over 2,000 scenes in 8 years while here. And the last year was only half a year. That's 250 scenes a year earning very good money.

Would you of given that up, to go back to the UK and shoot content for a website?

That's the stupidest piece of marketing advice ever. The problem is obvious. 1,000s of people are looking at his content on the gallery and simply don't want it. Banner size won't solve the problem.

But for the last 10 years that's been the basis of online porn marketing. It's not hard to learn. Which is why so many do it. And don't earn a lot.

Got any proof of that? As your last purchase was in 2005 for $40 and in total you only bought $600 which you used to put on one of your Titan Bucks site. What's your proof?
