Paul is one of those guys who knows enough to have achieved a little success but somehow convinces himself that he's at the top of the game when he so clearly isn't. His content was "OK" at best in the beginning of online porn.

Quite a few years ago, I flew to Brno to discuss working with him to bring a lot of Russian models to his studios to shoot for us. He had some really grandiose plan to lease out his "studio" which looked like a small product display for IKEA for a retarded amount of money each day to major production studios and all kinds of weird ideas that seemed to be so out of touch with reality and that left me speechless to the point that all I could do was smile and nod.

Business wise he is done. After we spent time with him, we couldn't understand how he stayed in business at all. His content today looks absolutely the same as it did in 1998. His sites look like shit and everything he has online looks like a network that was abandoned many years ago.

Now that the marketplace, the industry, content delivery and users expectations keep changing, he spends his time attacking the way business is done because the industry has left him in the dust. All his arguments are to rationalize why he cant succeed and to place the blame for his inevitable failure at the feet of others who "aren't playing fair". He is too arrogant to do anything else. He couldn't even find a job because he is thoroughly unemployable with his personality and arrogance.

And how about this paul.. the color of the building your studio is in (its been over 10 years) was something like a faded light green or gray. EDIT - i'm remembering now it was a brick building.. those soviet bricks made from coal ash and the doors were that green/gray. It was a typical soviet looking beat up steel door (a sheet of steel with hinges). Nothing was marked to indicate it was a business which again made it a little confusing to find. I believe there was a bakery in it because I remember me and my girl were joking about what kind of shitty food must come out of there. There was train tracks nearby I believe which was why roads were routed weird. It was weird for me to find the second time because of how the 1 way streets ran.
