That's just bullshit. If you have a niche blog you will get traffic for that niche. Not random and not hit and miss.

Well, maybe because you act like your way is the only way and everybody not following it will fail.
Maybe i'm defensive because it's total bullshit. The plenty of blogs i made in the past prove you wrong.

Nothing personal, but you simply shouldn't be saying this as it's not true.

Instead of typing a page on how you both are right with many variables mixed in.., the best thing to do is just find what works best for you, then repeat the shit out of it.. :thumbsup

He always talks that way in threads. Not sure why this one's any different.

Never noticed. Anyway, he did in this thread and it annoyed me :)

Great thread. but 1 question.
Would you be better off putting all your blogs on 1 domain name, or 600 different domains?

It seems to me that it would be easier to put everything on one.

Everybody can make and write blogs, the hard part (as well for me) is getting good amounts of traffic to them.

What kind of traffic are you talking about?

I have blogs that are getting 2k hits a day that beraly make any sales, and others that get 150 hits a day that make 3-4 sales a week

I think you mis-read, he talked about domains not ip's. From experience I can say that It's much much better having many domains instead of many blogs on just 1 domain.

Whoop, you're right, I was thinking ip's :Oh crap

kgt 03-08-2012 02:13 PM

hi, google is not looking at IP`s
Maybe its better to have different dns servers then IP`s for all domains.

That's about what I've been doing, sometimes a day and half. I just can't seem to do more than one a day. I'll try to change that soon.

Every day that you work on them, think of ways that you can do the same work faster or more efficient as well as other random marketing ideas as they come.

Because of so many shortcuts, I can get about 10 handwritten blogs made/day or up to around 250 RSS or other similar types of splogs depending on how much time and content for the blogs that I have :thumbsup

what you using to feed rss to the blogs?

Feed Wordpress (syndication) plugin for WP blogs and I set new posts to post in the post queue so I can do a quick retype of the title and description before posting.

For subdomain splogs, I use adultblogresource.com/rss2anywhere and go down the list every other day to update posts since it doesn't post automatically for about half of them, but still works for me :winkwink:

If you don't really care about SEO and want a bunch of quick ready to go splogs, you could always just import an RSS feed, if it imports correctly...

3-4 years back we seen the affiliate model slowing down and wanted to more internal traffic of our own so I tried some blogs we had success and we keep going.

I do almost all of the work myself, we have one other person outsourced who makes about 300 posts a month and our affiliate manager "Mailman" helps out when he is not dealing with Medium Pimpin projects.

This is just a side project that has worked well. It took years to build, and grunt work wise it's a monster no doubt, but it can be done.

How do you manage the blogroll with THAT many sites?

You build these splogs on your own domain? If so, how much splogs on one domain name?

All the text in these splogs is just copy/paste, no spin?

The splogs are on a lot of different freehost subdomains. I do have a couple thousand on my own domains, and I rewrite titles and content either manually in post queue or with a complicated rewriter that I made for myself :winkwink:

Hey, can you please tell me a few sites that accept blogs like that. I actually got a nice list here last month but half of my blogs got deleted within days for whatever reason. They were actually hand written blogs. Thanks.

Yeah, a lot of free hosts will delete them because they seem spammy or some shit like that.

Thumblogger is by far the best and the owner, Twan, doesn't like deleting blogs even if the webmaster requests it since it 'doesn't hurt the servers'.

The only problem is that you can only create 5 new blogs/day so if you use them, create 5 daily even if you aren't using them at the time since you can add to them whenever. I have some blogs up for two years that are blank and default and have never had a blog deleted.

Sensual Writer is good too and from the same people and is WP based with unlimited blog creation, but only works on one blog at a time since there is an annoying 203 error that blocks IPs with too many connections to it and is kinda sensitive. Just use a CGI proxy like vtunnel or something if that happens, though.
Also sexusblog.com :thumbsup

Dirty F 03-12-2012 12:10 PM

I stay away from free blog hosts cuz you never know when they'll just disappear into thin air, and the work you put in there is all down the toilet.

Case in point: I put a couple of blogs on PornBlogger last year and now they're redirecting all URLs to somewhere else. Waste of effort.

Also Twans stuff is breaking more and more every month as it passes, so I've stopped creating Thumblogger sites a long time ago.

Still works and makes sales for me and the blogs work well to boost SEO for my main sites. But you're right, there's a lot that needs work over there and a couple of us have offered to code and pay to get some of those things back with no response..

Even so, I don't know of a better free host option, especially now that Blogger is deleting 'adult blogs that make money'. That could have been an awesome adult blog host..

You fark out 10 handwritten blogs per day with 8-10 posts per blog? God damn, now I feel lazy lol

Yeah, but I don't go crazy with 500+ word posts or anything like that. Also, blogging about image FHGs is much easier than video FHGs or at least image/FLV mixes when I'm trying to do them fast and accurately :thumbsup

Oh agreed about that, I can generate a ton of backlinks fast and it does make the odd sale here and there. But ever since Twans board died and he stopped responding to mails I stopped adding new stuff.

Inter-Sex 03-13-2012 03:08 PM

ColMike7 at which average do you release posts per blog ?

jimmycooper 03-13-2012 04:51 PM

If you utilize tags and cats properly, you can easily get 20+ pages indexed with only 8-9 posts. Pages which will be continually updated and fresh for search.

anexsia 03-13-2012 05:52 PM

With my thumblogger blogs, I redirect all mobile traffic to Juicy Ads and make about $6-7/daily off the quick free hosted blogs which gets me an extra $150+/monthly. So with thumblogger blogs...even if they don't make to many sales - the backlinks and money from Juicy Ads works well for me.

BangThemes 03-13-2012 05:58 PM

If that is you, then its obvious we are in a very small business right now, and you are one in hundreds of people who tried to build an empire alone and didn't success and had to quit adult..

Also, you know things other people dont know.. and just putting your stats and not giving advie on how to build the empire, IS NOT GOING TO HELP anyone here.. rather just look as a show off, and get rich quick scheme.

IF YOU REALLY WANT to help people, tell them how to build the empire.. what secrets you used to get backlinks and SEO TRAFFIC in thousands of hits (yeah someone will quote and say: Why would he say that?).. And why would he just paste stats and show off? WHY?

So basically, you are part of a very percentage of people.. I don't want people to have a bad impression, that building a blog empire is easy and you can do it alone, with no investement and all, because they are going to waste years trying to build something for fail and somehting will not work and they will LOSE LOTS OF TIME..

Yeah, call me pesimist, but im just trying to save people's time. if they are naive and dont want to listen to me, great go ahead and crash your head, folks.

yep, also using some free blog services for backlinks to my main sites... + some free feed traffic + mobile redirect. Works pretty good if you have a time for this or can hire someone who know what to do.

One hint: Don't copy/paste what other people say on the boards and expect it to make bank by itself. Either that person is lying, missing some steps, or if they actually are completely truthful of what is selling and how, chances are that by the time you read it it'll be oversaturated..

funny how free blog hosts are a significant part of any mainstream seo's toolkit but in adult using them you are looked at like you have aids.
