Just trying to help since adult blogging literally saved my life..

See if I post anything else on here :321GFY

So you made in about one year on blogs enough to go from zero to spending 1k a day and buying three houses and paying off a student loan?

Can anyone say "shallow content"

Welcome to Panda/Farmer, 4 to 8 sentences wont cut it in 2012. You need quality well written content of substance.

I usually agree with your posts and you have created some really helpful threads but I create blog posts with just a couple of sentences and it works great. I kept getting huge increases of traffic during Panda updates for blogs that sometimes only had 2-3 sentences for each post.

Not all on adult blogs, but a majority of them are (15,000ish) with about 150 affiliates from grinding when I smoke my hookah and the rest I make on mainstream blogs using the same techniques.

The rest I make building websites, SEO and designing banners/logos for local companies.

Hookah sales alone have made me a little over 20k this year..

How many blogs would you say you have? Like a rough estimate?

18-20,000ish. I don't keep up on a lot of them, though, but I do once they start making sales and a lot make sales that I forget about. I did just make enough minimum on Silvercash, Braincash, and Platinumbucks to pay rent this month and I don't remember any of their sites..

How many blogs you put on 1 domain? All paid domains or also free blog services?

AdultGuy 02-11-2012 01:09 PM

Tell me something about the width of the images you put on the blogs, WHAT would be appropriate IMAGE size width if you were about to make lot of blogs? 400, 500, 600? Depends on the resolution you use but I would like to get some opinions of you people.

Most are free domains using Thumblogger, Sensual Writer, Sexus, Blogbugs (sucks, but worked when I started..), xlogz, etc. because I'm paranoid about 2257 but doesn't seem to make a difference with SEO, even though I don't have much to base that on besides many page 1 spots and a few thousands incoming longtails for each blog all PR0-4...

I also have a paid domain that I just started with WPMU hosted by one of my sponsors, once it's set up I plan on a few thousand more there.

Not being a dick here but I just don't see how that can happen in a year or so, 20k blogs pulling in what about a million? I just don't believe it, too many people in this industry just talk shit too much. I would love to see stats, examples to back this up.

If it is true then my hats off to you, your a fucking genius and I suck at life!

PS and your a stoner, damn I thought stoners smoked pot, that's what they do for work :winkwink:

Cool. Yeah having your own domain and creating 50 blogs on it is basically the same. Expect that you own it :)

Haha, I can't work without it.. I grind a lot and especially when I was poor I grinded for days about 250 tops per day. I did some things that I shouldn't have, though, to mass produce random CSV and RSS blogs to start but it worked.. They're good for backlinks now, though.

Also, a LOT of my blogs don't make money. I use them to analyze and test which niches and sponsors convert and rebill well and repeat what works a lot with little variations on each. With all of those blogs, I still make more money with mainstream.

And my bad, it's been closer to 2 years now, you lose track of time when you're depressed and broke..

I'll show some stats in a bit :thumbsup

Yeah, that's my next project. ;)

Here's an example of a 5 minute splog on that one: lingerie.onlinesexblogs.com

Once I get things going, I'm planning on having that one handwritten only besides the ones I created already..

Exactly! It's not hard if you just sit down and do the work. :2 cents:

Also, I usually blog with mature or obviously not teen content and if I do, I use topless images at most linking to my sponsor's hosted gallery with 2257. (This helps with clicks in to galleries and conversion ratios as well) and hotlink the ones that aren't.

So you link to hosted galleries? I've always linked directly to tours from my images and have been debating if I should change it up or mix it up...

Yeah, most of mine link to hosted galleries but I do have a bunch linking to tours. FHGs convert best for me, MGPs being better, but I still do make decent sales from direct tour links, mostly on blogs that I used RSS for that didn't have a choice.

I also think the selling text, what members get for their membership and bonus sites makes a difference as well as having great content but without the surfer getting off to it and not too low quality or showing nothing so they click off the site. If you have to, make your blog itself with low quality templates but with good images to fhgs to get the surfer to click it faster. Bounce rate isn't always a good thing....
Lower quality MGPs to HD paysites in the same or similar niche convert well too since they have to pay for full length full HD content, which is still hard to find on free tubes.

No didn't mean 2257, strictly meant where you link your images to. I've always linked to tours because I try and get my surfer to the join page as fast as possible, but I'm going to start changing it up a bit to see if FHG's convert any better...

Sorry dude, you joined a month ago, now you're claiming to have made x from blogging when you obviously don't understand what thin content is.

Most of what you wrote initially is crap, managing your blog network in an Excel Spreadsheet is retarded when there is blogging software that will plan and manage all of your blogs in the one tool, no need to keep referring to a spreadsheet to keep track of it all, better tools exist to do it.

You talk about using exact match keywords, you do not understand that although exact match keywords are indicative, they should be reserved for use for finding specific keyword tails to be used within content.

I could go on and on tearing your posts apart but frankly it's not worth it. Medium Pimpin very clearly posted stats and then went into detailed explanations of how he did it.

You on the other hand post generalizations, many of them wrong, then think some lame picture of you holding cash is going to convince any of us that you're making bank ? Come on, we see people like you come and go from this forum year after year.

Do you know what thin content is ? Do you know that running sites on free domains and then only using a few sentences of sales text will penalize you in the rankings as Google furthers it's push toward reducing thin content on the web ?

Did you know that the ratio between ads, affiliate links and good quality content on your site affects your rankings, thus traffic ?

As for how much money I make from blogs, that's none of your fucking business.

Im about to buy xmarkpro, do you use it? It doesn't handle free hosts though so he might be right by doing it by hand.

No, I use Mars Edit http://www.red-sweater.com/marsedit/

For Windows there are options (many free) http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2009...-blog-editors/

As for mass updates of WP Plugins and the Core, it's very easy to implement a script to do this across your entire network.

Ad Management is best done with a unified solution like OpenX ads. I use another custom solution for ad management.

Edit: Mars Edit will handle any free or self hosted blog over multiple platforms like blogger, tumblr, wordpress, etc

I'm looking into stating to blog and read that its better for your domains to have their own IPs. So what is the best hosting company to get multiple Ips?

That's bullshit sold to you by people who sell SEO Hosting, which is a crock of shit.

You can have thousands of blogs on one IP and you'll be fine.

This is a great thread. We built 20 blogs about a year ago and have seen some nice sales from that. I can imagine that doing 600 really took some effort. Well done.

Yup, I do about the same, it just varies from blog to blog. If I'm making a blog on a niche I know well than I will take the time to make the posts a little bit longer but otherwise I keep it to just a few short sentences. I don't really worry about seo bullshit, I just take the time to make my blogs look good and enticing to viewers and that works for me! And boy did it pay off when the panda updates started to happen.

So its bullshit? Good to know lol. Well that'll save me from buying tons of hosting over time.

Is it a good idea to at least spread out your domains on different IPs and if so how many domains per IP? thanks

Ok, that's why I post what I do, so people can say "Hey, this will work better than hand Excel sheets" and other things like that so I and other people can learn instead of saying GFY.

I never claimed to be great at it, just in mass quantity and if I spent as much time with little details and full length posts and in depth SEO for each one, I would only have a handful of quality blogs and no money like most all other bloggers. I do make as much as I do and many of you know me from other places and can back that up. I just don't chat much bullshit so it took a while for me to start posting a bullshit forum.

One big difference is that if a blog that someone works a long time on either somehow doesn't perform like expected or gets penalized or something similar, their income is gone. If that happens to me or if someone decides to be competitive, I don't give a shit since I have thousands more.

Also, I'm not trying to prove anything or sell anything or push any sponsors, just giving one fucking suggestion on one little aspect of mass handwritten blogging that works for me. What the fuck is me lying about what I do going to accomplish?

I use Excel for many, many things. I reckon that AboKing is no more than intermediate level.

Also, it was a reply to those who still import RSS and expect good results. Even as broad and apparently shitty as my suggestions are, my way is still much better...

Are there other ways to create and keep traffic on a blog?

I have almost the same question. Are blog directories the only thing to submit your blogs and that's it? along with some links to trade with same niche sites?
