Don't know about that one, I don't bat an eye at anyone that has a gmail address these days. In fact, a lot of people that I deal with and have 100 sites will still use a gmail account. Not so much hotmail but still...

I only bring this up since its the second or third time you asked for proof of his work. One can only assume the banner on his sig is going to his design studio's website. I clicked on it and there's a portfolio with a logo section.

I will be nice and link it for ya, here you go.

As opposed to one that implies you think crack is cool, yeah. email @ gotbaddog (if used) provides BRANDING unlike a gmail account. I can't help but believe if your boss thought gmail was a good solution you would not have [email protected] and [email protected] for yours.

Of course, since you change handles as frequently as you do, branding is something you are not really cognizant of.

Branding is overrated. Everyone knows what Jack in the Box is and nobody goes there cos the food is shit. You can't brand yourself out of selling stoner tacos with American cheese on them.

You two really should cuddle when you get together at the Lebrun Gathering. A lot of pent-up hatred!

Yet they continue to run new commercials. That Jack is such a clown.

And yet In-n-Out books a half a billion dollars a year in sales and has never run a single spot.

That would be impressive if it was accurate, but it is not. They use radio and TV commercials.

They have radio ads running currently, they've spent millions branding through radio. I'd say one their best branding tools during their surge in the 80's was the selling of their t shirts. It was the "cool" thing to wear and brought them tons of cheap exposure.

XPays 06-21-2011 01:01 PM

anytime somebody posts in-n-out burgers i end up there within 24 hrs. fact

That just makes my point.

Now I want a double double and a bumper sticker with the B and R cut off of the burger.

I have had In n Out burgers once in my entire life. Gabe introduced me to them when I was in OC. If I remember right (was a few years back now!) they tasted pretty good.

Brujah 06-21-2011 01:36 PM

What's the closest thing (or better) to In-n-out on the east coast?

I don't think we have anything like In and Out over here. Or Jack in the Box...

Some areas up north have White Castle, not anything like in and out, but I don't think they have them out west.
