I think it is total BS, but both sides passed it here. You have to report the injury immediately when it happened, and if you can't, the over time could of been caused by a childhood injury or some shit they say. Just a FYI... As I live in one of the worse work comp states. |

I think you're referring to the Affordable Care Act.
He could have contacted Catholic Charities. They will help you get seen by a doctor for free. |

We have more social programs than ever before. We have more government takeovers, bailouts, and freebies than ever before. And yet, the Middle Class is hurting and the poor are hurting worse. We have lost millions of jobs and the housing market has collapsed. If the big government method worked --you would see results --and yet all around us is destruction. |

Let's jsut say we are both right and wrong, they do get to write off as a business loss people that do not pay. Do they get to write off the entire bill, NO. Why? Because, the amount a medical place charges for insurance and to cash paying people, to ACTUAL cost is a BIG difference.. Thanks for Playing! |

Just because the Dems used some of the ideas the GOP came up with, that makes it ok? hey if you're ok with that, then it must be right. |

Actually most americans want the Affordable Care Act and every study other than completely partisan shows how much money it'll save. But that shouldnt stop anyone from arguing against it because facts and reason rarely get in the way of politics.

I must not be clear on what I was saying from my phone, let me try again. The Medical companies get to write off ACTUAL COST on taxes as business loss. But yes, Inflated costs are the problem. People need to pay, Insurance needs to be done away with. My parents talk about, the Doc came out, or when you wnet it, he sent you a reasonable bill. You payed it right then if you could, or as much as you could ev ery paycheck. No Inflated costs, and people paid for their Bills. Funny people wont pay a couple K medical bill because they dont have insurance, but they can buy a $2,500 Plasma TV, and $150 a month for Cable TV.. Is there Bigger medical expenses, YEP but there are also TONS of groups that raise money for tragic events, Cancer, and so on. NO side can fix GREED. I have heard from Canada people that if you want better than so so coverage you PAY for it. the wait times to get an MRI are crazy. But biggest thing is, how do they pay for all this? HUGE TAXES... Can't tax most of these freeloaders that have no jobs anyway! |

You don't "redistribute" wealth to wealthy people and corporations. That is a contradiction. The question is how to tax them. If you tax them fairly, they create jobs. If you sock it to them, they contract and close businesses. Actually, it is the lower classes who do not pay their fair share. Many on the lower end of the scale pay no taxes at all, yet they consume the most in government services. Outsourcing is good, in theory. You outsource the lower skilled lesser paying jobs --and the American workforce upgrades and provides higher skilled and better paying jobs. The problem is that spoiled American workers and arrogant union leaders want special rules and benefits that are not available to the public at large, such as seniority, platinum pensions, guarantees of every type, etc.. "neoconservative global conquest" --"Whatever." |

And how do you know he didn't get it already, maybe his issues fixed, paid out, and he went back to work for years... maybe it was hurt before or after he worked for them. Maybe he didn't want to put up with the bullshit, paper work, or give a fuck and just said fuck you people I'm tired and took the easy way out? Quote:

Everything seems to cost more in Canada.. from food to gasoline to services. A few months ago, I was looking at some real estate in BC, and the agent mentioned an HST tax of 12% on it. Holy simolians! Why would I want to pay for other peoples' health care? The Canadians are smoking some serious 'tax crack.' It's why I only visit Canada --and don't live there and invest there. If they ever get rid of the socialism up there, I might consider it much more seriously. It's a beautiful country. |

Who wants to create jobs when you are punished for doing so? I won't hire people. There's no reason to. All you get is taxes, redtape, and more taxes. And, because of the lousy economy, there is just less demand in general. |

The 2010 flip was expected to be BIGGER than it was, before Obama was President, really was only a few seats that were like, oh damn, we didn't expect that. Quote:
Btw, some States have laws that force it, others don't... just as one of like 10k differences between States. Quote:

Honestly, I believe the information and sources of information you have that actually cover what Obama has and hasn't done is very skewed making your own opinions about him misguided. We've talked about many things over the last couple of years, and many many many many many times over you've been shown what the truth is, what really happened, and the next week you will ignore the proof shown before you and continue on with your normal misguided rants. I'm not the only one to point this out either. |

Seems a lot of people feel the same way I do, like the 53% Favor Repeal of Health Care Law, 49% Say Measure Bad For Country according to Rasmussen 32% percent think the healthcare law will be good for the country, thats probably made up of the people that don't have healthcare right now. Funny how people react when they think they are getting something for free As far as hating both sides, the GOP went south when they got Bush and started getting the religious right involved. And I think they have no balls right now that they have control of one of the houses. Thats not what they promised and next term, I say throw them out. |

You can look up this useless information but you can't go look at the history of mid term elections, predictions and actual swing of seats and understand why 2010 was going to happen even if the best President ever was running the ship? Okay.... Quote:
Like we could still poll people and ask them about death panels and I'm sure over 50% will think the law has it in it... even though 100% were wrong and still are. Which is, something you once said it had. Quote:

Which is VERY different than what you're saying. It doesn't mean people where tired of him/his policies or anything going on or healthcare, etc... a huge flip was predicted to happen, it did not happen because of the ideas you claim and Obama never said it did either. Quote:
Quote:
Like, we can find all types of positive polls related to the healthcare law, I've seen both side posted here many times. And death panels does have to do with healthcare and was an example of the bullshit coming out about it and the masses of people sucking it up, which has happened over and over and over with the healthcare bill. Quote:
The only people I know that don't pay taxes, ALL own a business and don't live in America. I don't think the healthcare bill covers them. Do you now any homeless people? Personally I don't, but as well I don't mind them getting "free" healthcare, even if it's on my dime. Same goes with children... no taxes paid, but oh well. |
