I scored one PR6 now too along with several PR5's, now a few people I traded links with via linkspun must be laughing how easy it was to get a PR5 link :) I am not gonna take it down now, but it hurts :)

The funny thing is, we never activaly went after linktrades or anything like that, ever.
Site is updated with a good amount of quality posts everyday, no sideplatter seo done.
It does have a huge amount of hardcore followers and returning surfers daily, maybe that did the trick. They like the content, they stay longer, and it seems google liked that.

pornhub.com has pr6, well known aged sites with tons of backlinks have pr5 or pr4.

200k daily porn blog should be a well known site to the most people on this forum, of course if they do their job properly and have the competition on their radar.

it is actually pr 7, but seeing it as some kind of pr anomaly rather than some kind of permanent thing, although who knows.

I think you are mixing up some things. Getting a pr4 banned isnt that difficult. Building up a community and a site without active linktrading or other methods but just from blogging and keeping it straight is something else. I laughed at the seo-expert statement :thumbsup
