You are in bed with the ICM. You promote a company that intends to destroy this industry.

We know from your presence hawking domains at shows that you're a shrewd businessman that has plenty of experience with domain names. You're also not new to GFY or the adult industry as you've admitted to attending 5 years of shows. Certainly, you must have heard at least a few people express their absolute disgust with .XXX or have read the numerous other threads, both here and elsewhere, flaming Joan Irvine and Chris LeBrun for their ICM Registry / .XXX involvement. So after knowing all this, why would you accept ICM Registry as one of your sponsors? Are you that fucking desperate for their money that you are willing to destroy whatever reputation and goodwill you've established over 5 years? There's money to be made, but it shouldn't be at the expense of all those around you. You are a fucking disgrace and a traitor, for whom I have zero respect. If you sold out your country as a traitor, you'd be executed. |

I don't invect or fuel bullshit drama threads... although I'm playful like a lot of others here, and it's all in good fun.
I know there's something of a "bro" club around, and though I don't think I'm considered one, people who are put down as being in that club are usually good, cool and even great in my book. Most of the time the "bro" term is thrown out there as a put-down by people who are rejected or rejects because of their negative attitude and/or resentfulness fueled by failure. First off, NALEM, your board posting is annoying and mostly pointless. Even shit like my own "dream of jeannie" thread https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1028758 is more entertaining and somehow edifying than most of your threads. I'm sure most regulars here (and the other boards you repost at), like myself, when they see another thing you start just groan and moan to themselves "Oh no..." Yet we click the damn link and give you a view. I don't know if I'm a bro and frankly don't care. I do shows some years, some years I don't. I know and have met some of the best people around through this business. Anyone here though will back me up when I say my posting is not overtly annoying, pointless or disrespectful. There are many who post all kinds of shit, start pointless threads, and are more playful and pointless than business - though of course there's always the underlying business aspect of signature views, etc.... Still I click and enter and dismiss or groan and chuckle and move on. Somehow, those posts still have some validity to me, there's a sense they're done with some measure of passion, caring, perverse amusement or just "GoFuckYourself" attitude. But your marketing template just comes off cold, uncaring and completely devoid of any purpose, as if you really don't know "us", our business culture, or... something. It's like you're really not implicated or invested in any way, and figure we're idiots who can be approached in any slam-bang way and the easiest is badgering. And this impression I had was before you proferred ICM and .XXX a platform for exposure, implicit support and another point of access to the industry, leveraging onto us a sort of involuntary exposure to the brands through thread views. I was annoyed just by your name appearing in a thread listing because of the pointless and heartless aspect of your board campaign. I know, as you "accuse" JFK, you probably have a family to feed, yadda yadda, but taking on ICM and XXX just proves my initial impression that there is no actual caring or passion on your part for the business outside of the money. ICM and especially .XXX will wither if nobody buys their domains or otherwise supports them. This is the first and last time I post in any thread you start, and the last time I click into one also. Hopefully, if everyone else does the same, your campaign will wither and you'll have to come up with a better way to advertise your wares. Nothing personal, really. I'm sure you and your photographer are good people to have a drink with. But your approach is not cool, and pollutes my environment. :D |

I have been wanting to make a personal comment to to NALEM, kind of an insight. But first a cool story :)
I like watching NASCAR, I love the sport and will be in front of my TV for a few hours tonight watching the race. There is a driver there that I have liked for several years named Mark Martin. He is not my favorite driver but one I have always liked watching. Last year or the year before he picked up a new sponsor... godaddy. I really dislike godaddy and have for a very long time, I have seen their treatment of adult websites and I personally consider them to be a terrible company. It is personal. So now, every time I see Mark's car all painted up green and black it pisses me off a little. Not a lot, that would be stupid since godaddy has zero effect on my life and racing is a spectator sport that I can choose to watch or not. Just seeing that paint scheme on the car of a guy I respect irritates me and I resent his owner.... not that any of them really give two squirts of piss about godaddy and their business practices. When I watched that video and the YNot Summit and I saw the guy sitting there with a blue shirt with the .XXX logo emblazoned on the back bigger than shit; the first thing I thought was 'damn, that is going to seriously piss people off' guess what, I was right. If you wear that shirt then you are going to take a truckload of shit from people who take .XXX very personally and there is not a damned thing you can do about it. The one thing you can be certain of is that people in this biz have a very long memory. :2 cents: You're in this business to make money, I get that. However, you knew or should have known what the reaction from many would be when you pulled that shirt over your head and should not be even the slightest surprised by the reaction of many here. Yes there were people who did not care for you before you accepted ICM's sponsorship, but by accepting it you have put yourself in an unflattering spotlight to a huge segment of this industry and you're just going to have to accept it. |

You are just annoying to the top.

Posting this thread everywhere else is working really well for you from what I found!
Lots of great responses, such as: We all realize there is more than one person that owns a camera.. We just happen to all fucking hate your guts. And I'm not entirely sure if you're just fucking retarded or if you teamed up with .xxx for a reason.. I think you'll find few give a fuck either way. I'd imagine the only people interested would be those attending the shows and with those numbers dropping quicker than one of Divvys models I can't imagine it's a growth market. No response on the pond. No suprises there, forum sucks. Looks like you are banned from MP and a few others or you don't know they exist. |
People in the industry like JFK.
People do not like you. Did you expect this thread to change things? |

Looks like XXX is going to have a major impact on the industry.
Everyone seems to have meltdowns after dealing with them. First Chris, now you ? Are they sponsoring you or did they give you a retirement package ? |

I'm gonna break a personal rule, and actually post a serious comment in a serious thread...
First time I met JFK at a show, I introduced myself, shook his hand and said 'Hi'... He then raised his camera, and I posed for a pic... TBH, I almost felt 'semi honoured'... Kinda 'one-of-the-gang' He took a few more pics of me, during the show, and all was fine... I looked on the site for them, and found them, and it was cool :) Nice pics (FREE) and a happy reminder of the show... I saved them to the PC and still have them now... I believe that they have a 'Euro Ads' logo, or 'Eurobilling' logo or something in the corner, and thats fine :) NO PROBLEM TO ME... When NALEM began 'over-spamming' the boards, I thought to myself that it was annoying, but OK... Whatever... They gotta earn a buck etc... I also had it in my mind, that I would probably introduce myself in the same way at a show, and of they took pics of me... Well, cool... the more the merrier... BUT... Although the majority of people here DONT know me, and just see me as 'THE POO GUY'... Plenty of people (IRL) DO KNOW ME... and I will be FUCKED if I am going to have MY IMAGE online, with a .XXX Logo on it ! I do not support them - Never will, and I dont want MY IMAGE associated with it. So, if I find any NALEM guy taking pics of me at a show... I WILL NOT BE HAPPY, and I will be doing A LOT more than just 'Requesting Removal'... Its the SPONSORED BY .XXX I HAVE THE PROBLEM WITH. NOT 'NALEM' PERSONALLY... However I think you made a shitty choice in accepting the sponship, but there yah go... You reap what you sow... Anyway, all the reality posted above has kinda worn me out... Normal service resumed below... i like poo... i cant afford to go to shows... i like shows and poo... |
