I can sympathize with this also, but at the same time I am a bit tired of the old point-the-finger-at-East-Europe shtick.
Every country has it's low-lifes. It's easier to say they come from Eastern Europe, fine.

But that doesn't change the fact that criminals from all over Europe travel all over Europe in hopes of escaping justice.

Now, I'm not saying that joining the EU means a country looses rights to it's own policy-making, but at the same time, wasn't the whole purpose of the EU to create a common legislative-economical-union based on four fundamental rights of free passage:
Free passage of people, of goods, of services or of capital. These were further enforced by the Lisbon Treaty

It seems to me that imposing such restrictions violates these fundamental liberties that the EU considers a part of it's essence.

:2 cents:

You are right.

And that is why I am against EU.

One governement to rule over all these different people and culture in europe can not work in the long term.
How can an italian judge, in Brussels, decide what should Danes or Swedes do in their country ?
it seems ot me that it can only create frustrations.

The UK is dead. Over 2000 years of history. All destroyed in less than 30 years.

and here in CZ i don't see any big problems, besides a few annoying gypsies

but i also dont see any problems with a few additional border controls - i have nothing to hide.

Exactly, only people with something to hide should be afraid of this.

It was great 2000 years ago, then the Romans left, Bloody Normans arrived with their fancy French ways, been down hill every since... You can't destroy history only rewrite it.

London is one of the most exciting cities in the World. Why? because it has people, girls, culture and food from all over the world.

Bringing down "that wall" does not seem to have been as good an idea as people thought. I know my German friends sure miss the day of the Deutschmark.

And when did everyone go on the Euro (currency)? When did passports stop being needed when traveling between countries in Europe?

The Schengen agreement (1985/1990) which became operative 1995 allowed free travel without border controls within a few states (France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands) and was integrated into EU law in 1997 (which extended it to a total of 25 states at the moment).

The Euro was introduced in 1999 and became operative on the 1st of January 2002

London does indeed have people, girls, culture and food from all over the world except for one culture, the British.

Insults and name calling is what comes out of your brain when it fails to produce any logical replies. This reflect badly on you.

Two cultures dominate the UK British Culture and American in the form of TV radio and cinema. No other countries culture is represented even though there is a vibrant French culture less than 30 miles away, and great Polish Russian and Czech films, they are not shown.

There is British American and European painting in London's Art galleries...

There is food from around the world but British food is easily found in pubs and cafés for those of limited horizons.

The newspapers are UK and American owned producing a stream of mis information about Europeans, Muslims and East Europeans.

The people from around the world do the worse jobs in London for the lowest pay, and their small cafés add color to a dull cooking culture.

The danish government decided to increase the control at the danish borders due to increasing cases of criminels from Eastern Europe.. gangs of burglars from Poland, gypsies stealing from our senior citizens (tricking themselfs into their appartments) etc etc.

Now.. our left wing parties have done a big deal out of bringing a big lie to our neighbours in all of Europe, namely that this new bordercontrol would be everyone stopped and showing passports and stuff.. making huge delays for truckers etc at hours borders.. all what the schengen agreement was supposed to get rid off.

The media all over Europe has been playing along (or believed) this lie.. sadly most media these days are left wing as hell, at least here they are..

So.. whats really going on at the danish borders? .. not much more than the usual.. they have 30 extra men working who pick out only suspecious looking cars/people for a check.. the rest of the people can freely travel in and out as usual.. and there is no fucking passport control.

This is all done because we are sick of people from outside our country coming here to commit home invasions, rapes, robberies etc etc.

Now.. a very funny thing coming up today is that bild.de made a poll asking what the common german thinks about this issue, and the result was like 80% thinking that Denmark are absolutly ok doing this.. which is 100% the opposite of what the german politicans tries to tell us.. corrupt as freaking fuck

I totally agree here. Was seeing the same thing last night on the news. Every turist and worker the news crew asked was just fine with the little extra control.

And i`m also Danish of cource :)

that union was called BLUE

Belgium Luxembourg Economic Union

This is just utter nonsense. The reason poor people in Eastern Europe are still poor is because of corrupt former Communist party members keeping everything for themselves.

The European Union was formerly called the EEC - the European Economic Community, or "Common Market" as we called it in the UK, which we joined in 1973.

I hate to burst your bubble of ignorance, but that is not true. In communist Poland there was full employment, a health service, free education and culture.
Neo liberal advisers led the conversion to capitalism, this resulted in the closure of the Gdansk Shipyards, The coal mining industry, The steel industry, the textile industry of Lodz, The Polish cinemas were sold to the Americans etc etc...

There is a small goup now of very rich Poles but the vast majority very poor, even after 20 years of capitalism. In rural Poland there is no work and whereas before there was migration to the towns, people seek work abroad.

This is a lie used by the fascist parties in the UK. "

The foreigners are taking our jobs houses etc" It is the fault of the Jews, Gypsies, Blacks Poles (insert here group for hatred ) and lets not forget the Muslims,.....

Our gutter press day after day prints false stories about Poles who eat Swans, Muslims who attack white grannies .... by a press owned by an Australian American.

The papers that hack a murdered child's phone to sell a few more papers, who are the pals of our political elite.

Socialist Poland had the same income as capitalist Brazil... It was not a dream, but it was a fair country to live in and no one starved or was homeless. I think that is positive.
