Correct me if I am wrong (and Im sure yall will) but when you upload a photo to google + I believe you assign the rights to that photo to google.

REALLY REALLY bad idea.

Why do you think they get the rights to your photos?

Yanks_Todd 07-20-2011 09:51 AM

I would like one [email protected]

Thanks good post

mikesouth 07-20-2011 09:53 AM

Because the Terms of service say google gets the rights to photos posted there.

so if you dont want google to be able to do whatever the hell they want with your photo...dont post it.

mikesouth 07-20-2011 09:55 AM

lets say you take a picture of someone who goes on to be famous and you send that pic via google plus and say OMG look what I found...this pic of Celebrity A sucking face with porn chick A ....google has every right to sell that photo according to the tos.

mikesouth 07-20-2011 09:59 AM

I do believe google has a provision in the tos to terminate that grant of rights which is helpful but as with sharing pictures anywhere you should be very careful what you post there.

Perhaps you can direct me to where you read that as I have not found it. However, that is why I watermark every pic I put up.

mikesouth 07-20-2011 10:56 AM

OH lord now i gotta work ok im busy but I will get it

mikesouth 07-20-2011 10:59 AM
