So he went a month and a half where he didnt even log in to GFY (but was apparently around) when he was actively promoting it on GFY previously. Very strange.

To me sounds like his wife left him or worse. I just hope he is out there in the woods camping or something.. Had some deals with him that he now can't fulfill but definitely a great guy so I hope he returns soon happy.

He would not abandon link spun... 2 many people use it and it has given him respect.

He may have been arrested and in the slammer for something... time will tell.

2. I believe Amerinoc covers the hosting fees for it.
3. Coder still around and has access to it.

Well, if coder isn't getting paid, coder isn't doing anything. The PR update function is not working. All site update to PR0

1. I have 700+ plus trades, adding more at this point will only add to the amount that needs to to be manually checked and moved.

2. Does linkspun have free hosting? If not someone has to pay the bill, amerinoc runs a business and they like to get paid. If money domains are dropping...

3. Prove it. I have access to it. What level of access, and is he getting a check?

Hi,

Everyone has been contacting me lately to find out what is going on with Linkspun, and more importantly Jdoughs. I am in the same boat as many of you, having not heard from John in many months. We are all very concerned for him, and hope whatever situation he is in he is able to get out of sooner than later. With that being said, I created this thread to give updates about the situation.

I've spoken to Amerinoc about the sites' hosting and they said while John has outstanding hosting bills for his other sites, their agreement to host Linkspun & Tradespun for him will stand as long as the domains are pointed at Amerinoc. A friend of John is currently in control of Linkspun.com, so that should be safe.

Unfortunately due to the situation it seems that Amerinoc has restricted my access to the servers, so there's little I can do right now as far as backups. I hope that will change.

If you know anymore insight on the situation, feel free to share it here.

LINKSPUN is safe... The hosting is covered by a contract to advertise the host AmeriNOC. The domain has been renewed to 2013.

Currently solutions are being mapped out to get the PR checker working again. Once that is done the site will be back to full functionality.

* Tradespun is covered under the same type of agreement.

I'm planning on getting a new server from amerinoc to show my support. I have been with those guys for years they are one of the best.

Just to make sure he's ok, it's not about LinkSpun or something else, it's about if he's allright.

I do not know him well, but i do know this is not unusual for him to drop off the face of the earth for 1-2 weeks an even a month on a occasion, a few times a year. He's always done that for as long as i've known him. People only notice this time because he had hosting issues when he did it. I seriously doubt that there is any reason to panic or worry, as this is not unusual for him.

Where is he? His site linkspun is still up do to popular demand but where the fuck is jdoughs?

Is he in jail then? Apart from grieving i can't think of anything more 'time related'.
