Where is the musical talent though? I see a lot of body movement but that's about it. The vocals are simply spoken words. Perhaps, the repetitive beat to the song...which is performed by a drum machine as opposed to a real drummer?

Hmm, I don't know...but sorry, I really don't get it. :(

Not a bad looking video though - from the production aspect of it.

Everytime I think Rap or Hip Hop is dead, a new artist comes out that twists the genre around that makes me a fan all over again.

Some sick shit there.

nico-t 08-08-2011 05:43 AM

the 2 videos in the original post are horrible.

BlackCrayon 08-08-2011 06:18 AM

that shit is horrid.

CyberHustler 08-08-2011 06:48 AM

Kreayshawn can get the wiener... just because she's a cute stoner chick with style. Her raps suck.

thickcash_amo 08-08-2011 07:33 AM

why does any genre of music have to come with a color code? Who cares if they can produce music that sells?
Also why hasn't anyone mentioned Eminem??

JamesGw 08-08-2011 08:30 AM

Good rap has been all but dead since about 2001.

Everyone where I was raised listened to rap. I still prefer the older stuff to the newer stuff.

Could only find the censored version of this one :Oh crap

I only listen to rap occasionally anymore, usually on the ride home from work. I kind of enjoy the collabs and when they have artists rapping on other peoples songs but you won't catch me quading out to that prada song with my windows down at a red light lol. :1orglaugh

seeing how the white trash trailer park population is booming, it's inevetable that there will be more white rappers to cater to the trailer park wiggers. Most of them will suck

There are amazing hip hop artists out there putting out new albums/mixtapes every week/month that you will never hear about because you only sample complete garbage from the radio that plant key words like "life", "lights", "baby", "love", etc into the song/chorus, it's all so obvious and pathetic when you listen.

And I'm not talking about Immortal Technique (who is so 5+ years ago c'mon).

Being a music snob doesn't make you cool. People like you are so annoying. Ironically, most of my friends are music snobs. You guys are still really fucking annoying though.

BTW, I hate most of the "real shit."

Different strokes for different strokes.

Everybody knows how to find the obscure shit, most people don't like it.

My neighbor is always trying to push obavure shit on me.

The only time I leave mainstream is for my EDM.

Please listen/watch the videos I've posted then, unless that's what you're referring to as 'obscure shit' :uhoh

He was mentioned...

"The best rappers are dead, those who are alive live in their fancy houses and sings for world peace or something."

You think Eminem has released anything worth listening to in the past 6+ years? :1orglaugh

I guess it was bound to happen... bad music comes full circle in mainstream with white teenage girls rapping. TERRIBLE. But white teenage girls, and guys who will listen to their music so they can fuck them will eat it up.

best modern rapper, good song if you can grasp the wise lyrics...

he can spit it, like him or not....right now.

You've turned into your Dad.

He said that about whatever you liked. His Dad said that about rock 'n' roll.

Stop being so closed minded. Lots of rap has merit. It is poetry to a beat.

Check out my friend's rap version of the Cantebury Tales, or his rap about Evolution.

Not everything is "yo bitch hahahahahaha money and drugs, YO"

Skip to about a min in:

Saying "all" music in a genre is worthless is a ridiculous stance. Some is good, some is bad. Only those ignorant of a subject will say it's 'all' crap.

Check out my friend's Black Gold LP. It's Wu Tang Vs Hendrix. He's remade the Wu beats using all samples of Hendrix. He did the same with The Beatles Vs Wu Tang a couple of years ago.
