Hey everyone, just to clarify a little bit as there seems to be some confusion about an older version of this feature...

A "CCBill Paid" option has existed in NATS for a fair amount of time, but it was very limited and thus we did not advertise or encourage its use very much.

The new CCBill Paid Program option we've built into NATS 4.1 takes the feature further and it is now at a point where we feel it is a decent alternative for smaller affiliate programs who do not wish to handle payments on their own. There are of course drawbacks to it such as not being able to use NATS cascading.

Among other tweaks and enhancements, with the new NATS 4.1 version of the CCBill Paid program NATS now provides dedicated stats columns for CCBill Paid transactions. If you look at the stats header bar in this screenshot you can see them:

If you are enrolled in a CCBill Paid program you will see these columns. If you are enrolled in a traditional affiliate program paid program you will see the traditional Joins/Rebills/Refunds columns. If you are enrolled in and viewing stats consisting of both (an issue of confusion with previous versions of this feature) you will see both types of columns at the same time. This change makes understanding your stats much easier as although I personally believe it will be extremely rare, it is entirely possible with NATS to run both types of programs simultaneously.

In addition to the stats disambiguation we have added tweaks such as notifying you when you are enrolled in a CCBill Paid program but do not have a CCBill affiliate ID set as you can see in the above screenshot, a cleaner more self explanatory system for entering your CCBill affiliate ID, and more. Of course, the new NATS CCBill Paid program feature includes the much improved NATS 4.1 affiliate interface.

This feature is very new (only days old). www.richcash.com was the first program to deploy it, and as far as I am aware the only program with it live at this point. We have seen a great deal of interest in the new feature and I expect to see a number of programs going live with it in the near future.

If you are an affiliate program who wishes to have CCBill handle your payouts, but want to offer your affiliates cutting edge stats, ad tools, and reporting (as well as have a great deal of NATS admin reporting, etc. for yourself) this is a great opportunity for you.

So you can't cascade to other billers if you use the "paid by CCBill" feature?

or what about if you're using the CCBill billing cascade, I can see how the NATS cascade wouldn't work with this but can you still use the cascade that CCBill has?

Correct, it currently does not have the ability to cascade with the CCBill Traffic Manager system. We may make this feature possible in the future after further testing with CCbill.
