I don't know if they would or not but using what the RIAA did as an example it is possible even if it is a very remote possibility and even if you and I both agree that it would be ludicrous for it to happen at all. That is the problem with companies that have as deep pockets and as many attorneys as FB has.

Could do worse than getting sued by FaceBook. Any PR is good PR.

It does bring in some quality mainstream traffic..

We did the Acacia law suit and it made mainstream media and was a big webmaster issue and we had tons of well-wishing people saying "do business with the companies fighting Acacia to help!" Did it make one single bit of difference in terms of bringing in more affiliates?

There is a difference between mainstream media bringing in affiliates, and mainstream media bringing in surfers. It was quite noticeable on the traffic graphs when media wrote about our case.

Sorry, I wasn't making myself clear I see... I was saying the same thing. Mainstream acacia press didn't bring surfers, nor did the adult press on it bring in webmasters.

I am very familiar with mainstream press and getting surfers. We have been on 60 Minutes, 20/20, Larry King Live, HBO, Showtime, tons of magazines from GQ to Marie Claire and Cosmo, tons. A few month back we were in New York and San Diego magazines and on local news in San Diego as well so getting mainstream pr is something I know a thing or two about. I love mainstream press and I know how it can spike SURFER traffic. (but on a side note it can also help affiliates convert better too)

But in all honesty... is it bringing in enough to pay for such a law suit?

Probably 4-5 months. When mallick ran away with $50k of our publishers money, and a hacker wiped rcn's datacenter, and our entire business. Good times.. It took a while to pay everyone back. But we did. And learned a lesson. Call it a failure if you want. But both those things where out of our hands. Why do you insist on trolling about everything i do? You got your money, move on...

Faceporn is also a dating site with member profiles. Can tell you a ton of other things as well, but you only asked for one.

I know they make sales, but only if you have HUGE traffic... and only 1% of adult webmasters own the huge traffic saites.. the rest of us must survive with other ways, and if you have a few K days tubes with shitty traffic trading, you wont make any sales at all, and webcams are ultra fuckign hard to convert.
