hardly the producers fault that she accidently burned herself on a tail pipe, and it's not like getting immediate medical attention is what caused her to take 6 weeks to heal. A burn is a burn and will take time no matter what. There isn't any magical ointment that will heal it overnight.

Looks as if they tried, but no to the satisfaction of the model. Been burned plenty of times, tail pipes, wood stoves etc. It's not a very pleasant thing to go thru, but it does heal after a while.

This is an ongoing discussion between a producer we hired a few times (he is not one of our exclusive ones) and the talent in question. The story posted here is a bit incomplete. When I heard about this first I gave instructions to just get it dealt with in a professional manner, which is being done.

He should have had a medical kit on hand. He should have treated her with respect. By strong arming her into shooting the rest of the scene he basically fucked over MANWIN because the judge is going to give her special payment for the suffering that she CONTINUED to endure.

Yeah... I know there are two sides to every story... But this bitch has it on tape that it happened at the work site. I'd have taken her to a clinic. Of course I would have BEGGED and pleaded to let me dress it and complete the shoot and offered her MORE money in exchange. This would have acted as compensation for the pain and suffering. Medical clinic would have covered the infection liability. Then she could sue me for the laser treatments and we could settle on that...

And here everyone is solidifying her claim that she was burned on your set, when having pics taken of her. That alone makes you liable, then it seems she was denied medical attention?
I'd look into installing some serious workplace safety measures before you end up in the inevitable civil case.

Years ago I had 2nd degree buns all over my face, my whole chest and both arms so no, it's not bad enough to require laser and grafts especially not for something the size of her burn. I had a spray paint can explode in my face which is what caused the 2nd degree burns mentioned, but I have ZERO scars. She is going overboard with this.

Once things reach a certain stage, things can no longer be swiftly dealt with sadly...

I don't get why everyone is riding Nathan's butt on this. He wasn't on set and didn't make the call on anything that happened during the shoot. Why is this really any of his concern?

maybe she is lying and they rushed her to a doctor to treat her burn.
maybe they made sure to pay the doctors bill when they took her there, it will be easy to see the receipts when they paid the doctor to help the young woman.

This is a Johnny Thrust issue. He was an independent contractor shooting in an unsafe working environment without the proper safety standards in place. If he didn't have insurance or come out of packet on this fuck him. If his employer (Manwin) decides to be nice and help him out great, if not its still his issue.

What burns my ass is that Johnny, I am sure is still shooting, fuck if this industry is not retarded. Weed out the assholes and you wont have issues. Johnny is a douche, every one on set that did not help her, we aiding and abetting a douche.

My guess is that the girl that was at Kelly's house, rubbing ointment on her bruise and feeling sorry for her as she recounted the entire story went to shoot with Johnny the following day. And he was/is probably still shooting for Manwin. As if there are not enough independent NON DOUCHE shooters to take his place.
