I think of the 50 or so cam programs I've seen come and go over the last decade, AWE's livejasmin.com is probably the most obscure and least brandable main cam site name I've seen. Unless I'm missing something, why "jasmin"? In the US, the name is generally spelled Jasmine. I've never seen any explanation of that name selection, does "jasmin" mean something in another language?

True. Though I always assumed the top AWE affiliates and/or people with "jasmin" domains were connected to LJ anyway, which is why they were allowed to use the name.
