IMHO, Lots of things.

The difference is I've been in Holland for Queensday and I'm willing to bet you've never fired any guns like this....Probably never shot any gun at all.

My opinion is based on experience rather than ignorance.

Overall, I find the Dutch to be very intelligent people but when it comes to firearms discussions and the majority, just like you, seem brainwashed.

The browning is a bit unusual - you don't see those all that often. A collectors item.

That is a Browning air cooled light machine gun...and the water cooled version was called a heavy machine gun.

OK Sparky....Even though you are wrong and I corrected myself.

I am not wrong...end of story. It is a .30 Cal air cooled light machine gun. The water cooled version is a .30 Cal heavy machine gun. That is what they were known as when they were in use in the military...but maybe you civilians have your own terminology.

Since they were used by the military I think the military knows what terminology they used for the two types. I know what they were known as...as I am familiar with the weapons...and spent 12 years in the Army. Did you check out the links for the two types...sport?

Not sure what circles you run in but this fat boy doesn't wear panties at all.

Here's the thing...If I believed I was wrong, I would admit it. As it stands, you are a known fraud so anything....and I do mean anything you have to say is worthless to me whether you're right or wrong.

So basically I have a worthless fraud of a troll trying to tell me I'm wrong when I believe I'm not.

Go ahead and get in the last word. I'm done with you.

I will...thank you very much.

Hmm...I am not now a fraud...nor have I ever been a fraud...but feel free to remain ignorant on this count as well as remaining ignorant about the weapon...so be it.

As for being a troll...I see by your post count that you have me beat in that area...by far...fat boy.

Mr Pheer 09-24-2011 11:49 PM

The one that Deej is shooting is an A4 which is a medium machine gun.

The A6 variant was a light machine gun. The M1919 can be either a medium or light machine gun, depending on which variant it is. Both the A4 and A6 can be mounted on a tripod.

Now that its cleared up, stop arguing.

Oh come on now Pathfinder, everybody here knows you're a total and complete fraud. Faking your own death was pretty much the icing on that cake.

Surely you're mistaken! Pathfinder, before faking his own death here on GFY, used to drive trucks in the army. He thinks he saw "Light Machine Gun" written on one of the crates he was ordered to drive up to the real troops, but he can't be sure as he wasn't allowed to open it.

This of course was all before he fell off the bench in the mess tent and crippled himself.

BTW...the A6 used to be carried down by some Airborne troopers in a Griswold container.
