Well good news of course if they do that, but I haven't noticed that yet. Those uploaders that we followed seem to be keeping their oron and filesonic accounts just fine despite absurd amounts of DMCAs that we sent to their filehosters. They'd just switch to some other studio's content but still post at oron and filesonic/wupload and all links seem to be working.

It is different with hotfile only - it happens often that when we send DMCAs for some hotfile poster and check his thread later we see all other files were deleted too, not only those we sent DMCAs for. I guess that means his account was closed and all files deleted. It WAS different with rapidshare too but honestly I do not even remember when it was the last time that I've seen our stolen content posted at rapidshare. Hotfile is on decline too, but we still occassionally see hotfile links posted every now and then.

But I certainly hope you're right on this, maybe I'm just not seeing the bigger picture.

The thing that pisses me off is since I put the new forum online I have already had to delete so many threads and ban users for posting stolen content ..These guys are like fucking rabbits they just never stop breeding.

just a newbie question: Why are sponsors still providing download links for all movies & pictures (ofc if you are a member)? I would shut it off, it's all about streaming..

It's as simple as downloading and installing realplayer on your computer.

With that software installed, every single video you stream, a little window pops on Top right corner of it, asking you if you want to download it.

And realplayer is free...

Oron guy owns a bunch of forums like this one. Of course he is not going to delete his affiliate's accounts.

Maybe then you will have enough time to NOT APPROVE AFF APPLICATIONS AND NOT GIVE US THE RIGHT TOOLS TO PROMOTE YOU. Or, if you give us the right tools, you will have time TO NOT GIVE US ENOUGH...

Can you remember a few years ago when you posted about all the content theives and tried to get something going as a community. At that time there were forums like pornbb and a few others and all the other torrents, ect.

I now see even more forums and more illegal tubes which are bigger than ever with a load more places for people to make money from like the file upload sites. There seems to be an ever number of increasing blogs and other websites which incourage people to make money from uploading stolen content. Will it ever change ..nope until the law does somethign about it, and that would have to be worldwide.

Lots of people are still lost.

I tried to wake everyone up in 2005. We spent money out of our pocket to put a bunch of people in a room at the Sheraton. I raged and raged on GFY and other boards of the coming doom. Not a fucking thing happened.

However, WE never stopped. I have a method and a formula that works for US. Everyone needs to develop something that compliments and supports THEIR model. There isn't a one stop solution for all.

Every once in a while I like to post something that can help everyone, but for the most part we let everyone be their own dogs now and just guard our own backyard.

Hear ya.. I called the cops last night.. told them to stop patroling my neighborhood... crime was getting worse and the drug issue has been going on for decades. They insisted I hire a security detail tor help out but I told them it was a huge waste of money.... better spent on making a bigger and better place... in the hope nothing will get jacked :winkwink:
