The Grand Canyon is pretty high on our list of places to go right now. After doing some reasearch Sedona is looking like a very nice place as well. What's the weather like in Arizona in October?

The temps now are 80's in the evening, maybe 75 and 98-102 during the day. This is actually cool for us ;)

Also, Grand Canyon is not that far from Sedona

I have been there plenty of times. It's an amazing place. I'm on the NC coast.

Go to Lake Tahoe. I've been there several times over the last few months. It's beautiful...but not so boring that you'll pass out either. You can still see some shows and gamble a bit on the Nevada side at the casinos...and of course the lake and mountains are breathtakingly beautiful.

I love Lake Tahoe. It's been at least 10 years since I have been there though. The views are amazing.

The coolest place I have ever been is Egypt, but I wouldn't suggest that place right now with all of the unrest.

Southern California can be fun too. There is a lot to see in and around LA then you can head down to San Diego and catch the huge Zoo and Seaworld.

One other place I can suggest is New Orleans. It can be a party place, but you can easily avoid that part of the city. They have some of the best food you will ever have and there are some very cool things to do in and around the city. I haven't been there since Katrina hit so I'm not sure what state the city is in, but when I lived there it was great and I had some good times.

I chose US/Canada, Unusual, Romance, and Secluded for 2 Adults from 10/21-10/28. This hotel looks nice.

It's a great way to find interesting travel spots. Here's a nice relaxing, non-party resort if you're up for Jamaica.

Smaller the town, father from Lake of the Ozarks or Branson, the better. However, a waterfront spot on Lake of the Ozarks this time of year is beautiful & quiet.

After doing a google search and reading this looks very relaxing and beautiful.

I live in tn, go to the smoky mountains, it is beautiful there when the leaves change. I get to see it in my backyard everyday.

Sure!

I prefer Tablet because of the cool search feature, but here's a similar site that I also check when planning a trip.

I also think both sites are cool from a design standpoint! :thumbsup

Come down to Fort Lauderdale. If you want to explore the state and see something beautiful, take a drive from here over to Sanibel Island. It's still considered off season so you can stay at the Ritz for $250/night ocean front and pamper yourselves silly.

Thanks for all of the advice and great places to check out. We have planned a trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona in November. I’m super excited for a little vacation.
