Interesting, have you ever personally "stood up" and went after a bad company? Meaning, your opinion would be much more valid if you did, instead looking like a kiss ass to try to cover for a company with a possible accounting error.

This thread isn't about me. However to answer your question, it depends what you consider 'stood up' to mean. My review sites were among the first to warn viewers of cross sales on join pages, WebsiteSecure.org only certifies sites with ethical terms and billing practices (and has rejected several sites in the past from mainstream and adult), WebmasterScore.com provides simple reviews of sponsor programs that include information provided directly by the affiliate programs AND allows webmasters to post comments on each review. Those are a few examples.
I have found it to be not really worth my time to try and 'police the internet' so I put very little time into dealing with bad companies. I simply blacklist them and move on. However, I have put a large amount of time and effort into highlighting good companies and providing consumers or webmasters with tools helpful for determining whether a site is worth signing up or not. I have also written dozens of articles for XBIZ, FubarTimes, AVN, Klixxx (back in the day) etc including several that explored the negative aspects of the .XXX TLD. Frankly, I am comfortable with my own stance on these issues and I'm comfortable saying ZTOD has been one of the 'good sponsors' I have worked with for quite a while.
You have a guy who failed to endorse the back of his payout check, starting a thread titled 'ZTOD Check Bounced' and trying to claim it is somehow the sponsor's fault. I see that as just as big a problem with this industry as a sponsor who unduly messes with an affiliate. It works both ways. :2 cents:
