I agree with the no cross sales, but as an affiliate what are we gonna do? Program A makes more money with cross sales than program B without them. And as said, it's not like they're hidden or anything. Every time I spend a penny online I make sure to read through everything and make sure I know exactly what I'm spending. I have absolutely no pity for the buyer. The cross sales might hurt in the end, but as an affiliate that means you can just move your traffic. And this part of my traffic is now moving to something with the conversions I expect, and also less fucking the customer over. Finally. I always want to promote the more honest program. :2 cents:

a pre-checked cross-sale is like going to the grocery store and finding out at checkout counter that the butcher put a pound of lunch meat in your cart without telling you. you might catch it at checkout or you might not.

There are not many PPS programs without at least 1 pre-checked xsale.

Most customers are educated enough to uncheck pre-checked xsales. I'm sure if you book a flight ticket you'd uncheck the pre-checked travel insurance etc. as well.

Plenty of sites use shady cross sales. I've seen hidden cross sales 5 rows below the submit button in fine print. That isn't right... I'm not talking about amakings.

LOL. That's what I don't get, once you go 0:2,000-3,000 why keep sending them traffic? Send that traffic to me if ya want, I'll give you more than negative $112 for 20k+ unique visitors, (I don't care where it came from). :)

This is why I don't even bother to sign up for programs like this anymore. Posts on webmaster forums about shady shit = program that will only cause you trouble in the end. It's often a never ending stream of crap too. First you have this verification crap, then you have the cross sales, then you have the massive chargebacks, then you have the shitty ratios. Definite patterns there.
