Yes... I do.

First... I'm sure NY times will be thrilled to have their site name on a xxx site.

Second... I want to reserve a fetish site. the name being pantyhose.xxx

how can I get that site reserved?

First, Good. In that case a disclaimer must apply. The game is with PRbot, not ICMRegistry. Everything related to the game is solely the opinion of PRBot.

The game is to draw the correct conclusion about a particular trademark. I'll give hints, you give the answers.

First hint. Find the trademark.

Second, if you have some great development ideas for pantyhose.xxx you can email me at the address in my signature and I will pass it along, or you can email directly to premium at icmregistry dot com. We'd love to hear from you.

I emailed you. I have awesome ideas for tons of names... I just want a fair shake. That would include not telling you what my ideas are.

I love how whenever a tricky question is asked, the prbot has to move to email, but the rest of the time is happy to post in public.

God I hope you're not being paid much, you really are bad at this.

If you emailed specifically to me, I haven't received it. If you sent to premium, I'll pass along the message. Telling me isn't a requirement. I'd be of little help beyond passing along a message.

prbot, what is your position at ICM Registry and are you an officer, employee or contractor to ICM Registry ?

Pretty easy to undermine that $25 million for someone prepared to put in some effort.

1. Strategically targeted negative press releases about the "dangers" of .xxx
2. Targeted phone campaign to 'shock jocks' on talkback radio about the dangers of .xxx
3. Telephone surveys garnishing support anti .xxx , reverse marketing.

A mere $25k could undermine $25 million in PR spent by ICM Registry because tabloid press, radio, television will respond to shock horror danger danger stories much more readily than eating up ICM Registry's guff.

Example telephone survey campaign. Make people scared.

"Hello Madam, I am conducting a survey for the "Think of the Children Coalition""

"Would you mind participating to save the children from pornography ?"

"Here are the questions."

"Madam, Do you agree exposing children to pornography is abhorrent ?"
"Yes"
"Madam, Do you think it's the role of society to protect children from pornography ?"
"Yes"

and so on until you get to the clincher by which time you've scared the willies out of middle income suburban mother of 2 and have her calling talkback radio in outrage.

No. There is an adult performer program, where performer names have been reserved. It prevent cyber-squatting performer names, which is a common occurrence, but performers still need to purchase their domains.

1. How did you build the list with names of adult performers?

2. You've been 'protecting' the names of some adult performers and you've been blocking the names of a-list celebrities for free. Why haven't you been doing the same for schools, universities, mainstream companies,...?

Thats a very good question, I would like to hear what ICM have to say about that also. I was discussing this with a lawyer about 2 weeks ago that represents a group of british companies and he was sharing his concern with me about it.

I'm an authorized representative.

DotXXX 11-22-2011 11:47 AM

Also, I apologize for not being able to answer some of your questions, but unfortunately anything directly related to allegations currently in litigation is off limits. Angering attorneys is rather like dangling a steak in front of a starving dog and I generally prefer my skin intact.

These so called premium domains were not made available through Sunrise or Landrush.

Thanks for explaining, and yuck yuck yuck this really stinks. We had some guy posting in here some weeks ago that a similar thing happened to him, but he was able to apply for it in Sunrise and paid, and was then told that the domain was reserved too and he didn't get his money back? Let me search.... yup found it: https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1039160
