Did you READ the POST? Why were domains available then no longer available during the landrush period range of days. The domains should have stayed available to the end since you can no longer reserve them.

They turned around bought it and sold it for a higher price.

Yes, and I still don't have enough information to attempt a clear response. What domains? Where did you look? When did you check, then re-check? It sounds like it could be an issue with the registrar you were using, but I would prefer to give you a more direct answer.

I'm not sure what the previous issue was for you with godaddy during Landrush. If the domain that you were interested in was available at the beginning, it would have been, and should have shown as available through the end of that period. No names were taken out of the available pool during Landrush.

Since Landrush closed on November 25th, all names applied for have been marked as unavailable.

Currently, godaddy is showing your name as unavailable, (they might have taken a pre-order for it) but buy.xxx, and our whois both show it as available, so I checked with some of our other Registrars and Domain Monster shows it as still available. You could very easily pre-order with them, and if they are faster on December 6th, you would win the name (and they have a no-win no-fee guarantee so there's no risk).
